I stayed at the Holiday Inn on Queensferry road for 3 nights whilst working in Edinburgh. I found the room to be a good size. It had 2 double beds which were comfortable, a TV, tea and coffee facilities, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Internet is available at a cost however I got excellent reception on my 3G dongle so... more

Typical HI. Nothing special. Rooms are clean although the bathrooms in both rooms I stayed in looked a bit tired. £100 for Bed, Breakfast and Dinner - that's a good deal for a business traveler. The big problem with the hotel is the restaurant. The food is below average and the staff are very disorganized. Diners were left waiting for... more

This is a typical holiday Inn so u know what kind of value ur getting. Rooms are very clean, but it didnt have a bar fridge ! which was quite frustrating when u have been travelling for 7 weeks, on a budget. Also its a long walk into town, we recommond catch the bus! Across the road there is a... more

This hotel was your typical Holiday Inn -- no real frills, but nothing bad either. The room was clean, the bathroom was large, and the amenities were great. The man who checked me in was incredibly accommodating, letting me check in early as I wasn't feeling well and hadn't slept the night before. There were also great choices for room... more

Needing a hotel with free parking and a full english (help yourself) breakfast and after reading reviews on this hotel, I certainly was not disapointed, even asking for a room with a view of the castle and not on the top floor (due to noise prob that has been mentioned before) I was given room 412, just perfect. The 41... more

First the good- we had a great view from our room. Also the room was a good size and had a proper bed for our daughter rather than a foldaway bed which was a huge plus. Nice decor. Restaurant was fairly reasonably priced. Free parking. Across the road from a shopping centre with supermarket, KFC etc. No other restaurants close... more

The room was comfortable, well furnished, quiet and with a good view over part of the City and Pentland Hills. all the staff were friendly and helpful.... more
