This hotel was quite a bit out of Edinburgh city, but was still easily accessible by the 41 bus for £1.30 or £6/7 in a taxi depending where in the city you're going. We've stayed in many hotels in Edinburgh over the years but booked much later than usual this year for 3 nights before Hogmanay which left us with limited options. Needless to say at this price its not The Caledonian or The Balmoral but it does exactly as advertised - the usual Holiday Inn deal with friendly staff and pleasant rooms....

This is a well run Holiday Inn with well trained friendly staff and comfortable rooms. We had a suite on the carpark side which was spacious,quiet and very well appointed. Lots of buses stop outside and you can be in the city centre in 15 minutes for £1.30.
