I had booked the hotel through Today's great deals in November and stayed there on Saturday night 18/02/2012. In short, great hotel, great location, great staff, great food, great value for money. I have to stay it was one of the friendliest places I have stayed at. We arrived at 2pm and part of our deal was that we got... More

I recieved a great deals voucher for christmas which included a 1 night stay with breakfast, dinner for 2, plus chocolates and prosecco in our room on arrival. We arrived slightly too early to check-in so we waited in the lounge area - very comfy sofas and pillows (was a lovely rest after a morning of travelling). The receptionist was... More

We stayed here for the rugby weekend as part of a rail/hotel package. Its in a great location for Murryfield It's difficult to be overly critical as the rooms are clean and well presented. The staff are very friendly and helpful It's just that the hotel seems to be poorly managed and organised. Its a lost opportunity and it seems... More

I stayed in this hotel last week expecting it to be OK but not great because of the price and also because of some of the reviews here. I am glad to say I was wrong. I ate in the hotel with colleagues and we all enjoyed our meals and my room was very clean with brilliant white quality bedding.... More

We stayed an overnight in Dec 2012 on a dinner, bed and breakfast deal (we had a bottle of prosecco in the room and lindt chocolates). The room was a decent size with a very comfy bed, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We had sandwiches and a pint in the afternoon but if I had known the... More

This hotel is 3 star, so expect 3 star service. Its not too far from city centre, not a walking distance though. Staff were pleasant, room was ok, quite cold and our sheets were not changed the next day, breakfast was fine, plenty to eat. Nice and quiet. Staff were helpful if you asked anything. Close to Edingburgh Zoo, worth... More
