Stayed on business and although the location and reception area are good, the rooms are poor. Huge damp/mould patch on the wall, bed with broken springs throughout mattress and pillows which are covered in hair and dirt inside the pillowcase. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and suggest that a program of improving the beds is required along... More

The service of theemployees in all our encounters was first rate and the quality and price of food at the bar was a real plus. Rooms are small and so is the elevator but clean and comfortable as well as the location. The one drawback is the parking if you have a car but a botique style feel overall.

I dont downrate hotels often but this one was average- paid £450 for 3 nights. First two rooms had to move. First stank of p+++- told by staff it was something they had sprayed on curtains for fire proofing. Second was half the size with noisy air conditioner, third was stinky too but fed up by this stage. Rooms dated... More

Stayed in a twin room with a work colleague. Hotel is a short walk from Haymarket Station and within walking distance to the conference centre where we attended a function. Despite a queue we were checked in quickly and found our room to be clean, spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly and we had a hearty Scottish breakfast in the... More

Second stay at this hotel, I was allocated the Townhouse across the street which seems a lot better than the main hotel, as it seems to be better furnished. Stayed in a very small but functional single-bed room, which was nice and comfortable for my needs but suitable for only a one night stay. There was only about a foot... More

We were originally told each room could only hold two people, so we had to book four rooms. Upon arrival, we found out there were two singles and a fold out sofa (which easily fits two small children) in each room. The front desk did not want to cancel extra two rooms. However after asking for manager, she kindly canceled... More

I was put in the town house over the road from the main hotel, it was quite and lovely. My only negative was I had to walk over the road to the bar! The food was great, the service was excellent and staying there for 19 nights you get to know the staff and how the hotel runs and I... More

We stayed here with friends for two nights over the weekend. We were allocated rooms in the Townhouse part of the hotel, across the road from the main hotel. We weren't disappointed - both rooms were ample size, very clean, with lovely bathrooms. We were surprised with cards, complimentary wine and a plate of strawberries, shortbread and chocolate sauce for... More
