About 20 minutes walk fro the heart of Edinburgh, this hotel is just a small part of a beautiful terraced residential houses. The room is of good size; ours overlooking the city far into the horizon. A negative would be the parking, as the hotel has no allocated car park spaces, on the street in front is restricted to permit... More

Not far from the West End of Edinburgh, set in a lovely old building, this visit was excellent value for money. Inexpensive, but not cheap. A few minor issues, exacerbated by the absence of a telephone in the room, but a nice big room with a comfortable bed. Early check in / late check out options available. Breakfast was fine... More

I have used this Travelodge several times and find the staff very efficient and friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable and the location excellent. If I can suggest one improvement it would be to improve the quality of the breakfast, with better coffee, better quality bread, and improved fruit juices. Small point, and won't stop me returning.

I've stayed here twice now and would go back again. It's slightly out of town, but the walk is pleasant and we always prefer a walk to and from dinner. Parking is possible right outside, which is a big advantage over city centre locations. Obviously, it's a Travelodge, so facilities are basic but it's really quiet and in a lovely... More

It's about a 20minute pleasant walk from the centre. Really lovely building. The staff were absolutely fantastic. Really spacious room. Big bathroom~ all very clean. There is a restaurant too if you don't feel like going into the centre.

Almost walked past the hotel, it is a really lovely building in a nice area - room was quite large but a long walk from reception. Easy enough to walk to from the he hotel, but the buses are cheap enough and quick so I'd recommend saving your legs. Not many shops about this area, waitrose is a bit of... More

Booked a family room which was huge. Very clean, comfortable and warm. Bathroom clean. Reception staff and bar staff were very friendly and helpful. A little bit out of the way from Edinburgh central but still walkable (20 minutes) but perfectly placed for us visiting friends nearby. Stayed in Edinburgh for Hogmanay and looking forward to doing it again one... More

I recently went to Scotland and stayed at one of the Travelodge. It was excellent , I booked a family room. Everything was neat and clean. Food was awesome in the cafe. Late night menu is an excellent option after day outing if you return late in the night. 24 hours food is available. Although Wi-Fi is not free(30 mins... More

We were looking for a base when visiting family for the Christmas break. this was ideal, no fuss just a clean bedroom and very good breakfast. help on hand if required. As we have family in this area we will be using this hotel again.
