A brief one night stay here in a deluxe family room - excellent standard. The room was very large, well equipped, up-to-date decor, large bathroom and more than fit for purpose. The leisure facilities in the hotel were also excellent, with wonderful staff and attention to detail. Expensive, and you pay for the name, but a real luxury for an... more

Ok, it's not the best hotel in the world or even Edinburgh. But I have always found it convenient for one or two nights either for short visits to Edinburgh or for the night before an early flight and generally at lower cost than other hotels in the area. No matter how busy the car park is, I always manage... more

This is a noisy grim hotel. I stupidly thought that the swimming pool would make it worth staying here for a night, but you have to trek to it, and I didn't bother. The worst thing is that there is an ambient air conditioning noise that runs through some kind of pipe system through into all the rooms. It is... more

Stayed at the Hilton, the night before we flew to the USA. Upgraded to a larger room, pleasant, clean and quiet. No soul about the place. Restaurant could do with some updating, even getting some lights fixed. Reception staff okay nothing startling. Lift to airport no problems next morning! Came back after two weeks away, went to the pickup point... more

We had two seperate nights stay here and were very impressed with the hotel. Location was great, room was fine and comfortable...only complaint was that bed seemed small for a double - was perhaps 3/4 size! We enjoyed use of living well facilities and dined in the restaurant. The food was fantastic and the service was also very good. On... more

This hotel is close to the airport, but that's about the only positive about it. The rooms are very tired with old furniture and probably the worst bed I've ever slept in. In general, Hilton hotels are in decline, but this one has reached rock bottom. The staff are at best barely competent and at worst downright rude. I arrived... more

good points: This is very well situated if you are staying overnight before an early flight hilton staff are always "perfect" at customer service - but you loose out on the more personal touch of staying in a locally owned hotel / b&b bad points: dated decor, soulless bland reception / lounge area, rooms looked a bit tired - not... more

The bedroom/bathroom was nice. The extras were very nice - the workout/spa area, the front lounge area, the bar and restaurant area. The food and service in the restaurant was excellent. Shuttle service to the airport was great. The large pool was very nice. We had a quiet comfortable stay. more
