Stayed at the Hilton, the night before we flew to the USA. Upgraded to a larger room, pleasant, clean and quiet. No soul about the place. We had two seperate nights stay here and were very impressed with the hotel. This hotel is close to the airport, but that's about the only positive about it. The rooms are very tired with old furniture and probably the worst bed I've ever slept in. In general, Hilton hotels are in decline, but this one has reached rock bottom. The staff are at best barely competent and at worst downright rude. I arrived... more

good points: This is very well situated if you are staying overnight before an early flight hilton staff are always "perfect" at customer service - but you loose out on the more personal touch of staying in a locally owned hotel / b&b bad points: dated decor, soulless bland reception / lounge area, rooms looked a bit tired - not... more

The bedroom/bathroom was nice. The extras were very nice - the workout/spa area, the front lounge area, the bar and restaurant area. The food and service in the restaurant was excellent. Shuttle service to the airport was great. The large pool was very nice. We had a quiet comfortable stay. more

Used this hotel 4-5 times between Feb-Jun 2009 - just a few points: - Perfect location for airport and business park connections, you can virtually walk to the airport (taxi drivers get very annoyed when you ask to go to this hotel from the airport, as it's less than a mile, but hey ho, that's their job!) - Much better... more

I agree with the previous reviews. We we're very disappointed to find a scruffy room, with mould in the bath room and a broken tab in the bath. The only thing I can recommend was the excellent restaurant. more
