Stayed here for the weekend when we were up for the Scotland v England Rugby. The weather and the rugby were rubbish, but this guest house is very welcoming. Unfortunately our room didn't have an ensuite, but we did have our own private bathroom across the landing (lovely shower and complimentary soaps etc.)and the dressing gown provided saved any blushes... more

Had a really nice stay - cosy and comfy room, could have benefitted from a bit more wardrobe space. The access is quiet and close to the center. Alright if your stuck but if you have a choice go elsewhere. The place had a pervasive meanness of spirit, which begins on arrival. Lovely victorian home in a quiet neighborhood; a great room and exceptionally clean at a terrific price. Our room was made up daily and fresh towels were always available upon request. stayed at the Kingsway for 2 nights.We were met by Ian who gave us our key and explained about the local buses etc. Food was great and plenty of it. Heather was very helpful and room service was good. no problems.would definately stay there again.The central heating was most welcome. more

We booked through email directly. Were told that credit cards were accepted. When we arrived we were told to pay cash as they did not accept credit cards. Everything was great! The hotel was just off the main road where you can easily catch a bus into the city centre (10 mins ride) but it wasn't noisy at all.
