Arrived at this hotel after a long Friday night drive to drunk teenagers on the pavement outside, overspill from the 18th birthday party being held inside. We were kept awake by the loud music until midnight and then woken by the next room shortly later, the walls were so thin it was like they were in the room with us.... More

The staff were amazing friendly welcoming and had great restaurant recommendations. However there were serious areas for hotel improvement. Room 19 had cigarette butts on the floor and cloths that people had left in the cupboard draws. There was a lack of plugs for charging phones and using hair dryers. The room had a very strong smell of bleach on... More

This hotel was in a very convienent location for our trip but is also very handy for buses into the city centre and to Ocean Terminal. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was do it yourself service but there was plenty of food left for guests. The very large milk jugs were a bit unwieldly. We were in toom... More

Awful! Noisy room next door. Kept awake all night. Complained several times and given promise they would be moved the following night. They weren't! Though they did tell them to 'shut up!' Which was a surprising way to speak to paying guests!

This is a budget hotel and you have to remember you get what you pay for. We booked a twin room and were placed in Room 18 in the lower ground floor. The room was spotless, warm, and the beds were very comfortable. The en suite was good, with a power shower, nice towels and toiletries supplied. There was tea... More

Stayed here for a weekend with my better half. Hotel was pleasant enough a short walk into the city centre and was also extremely cheap in a taxi should the weather permit. Room was clean enough and the hotel served its purpose as a bed and roof at the end of the day.

Price of the hotel is very reasonable. Travelled as a group of 9 girls and had a lovely weekend. Rooms were big with comfortable beds and the bathrooms were very clean. Only cost £7 in a taxi to city centre which was convenient. Only problem was no mirror in one of the rooms which for a group of girls was... More

Just returned from a lovely stay at the park view house hotel. Great value for money, spotlessly clean and very helpful staff. Ideally located just beside the bus stop and only 10 minutes on the bus to the centre of Edinburgh. This is the second time I have stayed here and both times it has been lovely. Breakfast is continental... More

My boyfriend booked this hotel when I came to visit him when we was working at the fringe festival. I wish we had stayed in his shared digs because they were nicer than this crummy hotel! We arrived in the car park which was over grown with weed and had grubby grey towels strung up on a washing line across... More

Thank's for leaving a review and staying with us firstly. We do apologize about the time it took for checking you in to your room but there was more than one staff member on that day as it was the Edinburgh festival. As to your comment on the weed's in the car park we do try to keep on top... More
