The staff was really friendly and helpful. They gave us a room with a view of the castle. We have been to better hotels but apex city was good considering it is a 4* hotel and we paid 75£ for 1 night.

I stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed it.Right in the heart of the city in the old town.Good restaurants nearby and some fantastic vintage shops too. The Sandy Bells pub is an experience not to be missed, live folk music , just the place to try famous malts and whiskies.
