Please do not stay in room 101.It is like being in a dungeon. You have two big wheelie rubbish bins up against your window. So you are unable to open it and there are all rats and I mean loads of them just outside the window. Staff are unhelpful could not care a less and refuse to move you.Managment what... more

If only i had read the reviews before i booked this place.. On checking in, we knew it wasnt exactly the hilton but it was the only hotel available at the time of booking, however it looks really nice for £77 on the internet but when you arrive its like a completely different place... The strong smell of the "restaurant"... more

I booked this hotel based on the price and location, and on both accounts it 'does what it says on the tin' - it is very cheap (£48 for a twin room) and very conveniently located (approx 5mins walk from Waverley Train station). The bed was comfortable, the sheets and towels were clean and the breakfast acceptable. If you want... more

I stayed in a twin room with my old flatmate who I was meeting in the city we used to know so well. The location we knew was excellent and the price was the cheapest central hotel we could find at short notice (£48 for twin room). When we arrived the receptionist was pleasant enough but told us their was... more

I dont know why other reviews are knocking this place. We styed in a fabulous triple room, very nice, clean, fresh towels, exceleent breakfast and very cheap. The location was brilliant. I will use this hotel time and again. more

My partner and I stayed here as part of a large group. I know the organiser had a lot of problems with the hotel (which for some reason had been recommended.) The staff weren't that friendly or helpful at first, but we managed. Suspicious of the lift I walked up to our second floor room. The wall was scuffed, the... more

I found a very good offer for a twin room at the osbourne, I was a little frightened after reading the reviews on tripadvisor, but I read many positive reviews on venere.com and booking.com, so I decided to book. Positives: - Price, I paid 33 pounds a night including breakfast in a twin room. - Position, 5 minutes walking from... more

It's taken me quite a while to getting around to writing this as, to be honest, I wanted to banish all memory of the place from my mind! There is nothing nice about this place. There is nothing positive to be said. I would have happier slept outside than in the beds for fear of what had been there (and... more

If it was possible to rate a zero I would. The very old looking sign on the outside is about the most modern thing in the 'hotel'. We stayed for a stag weekend and even for a bunch of guys this place was easily the worst place I have ever stayed! Unless fluent in Polish you will struggle to get... more
