I've read some of the reviews below and I totally agree with the noisy comments. You can hear absolutely everything from the rooms round about. I heard somebody in the next room yawning (to mention one of the noises)!! As for the next rooms toilet noises, I could have done without those! I was apparently "lucky" due to the main... more

The hotel was clean and the staff pleasant. However, the hotel has a "neuvo euro-pop" design that puts appearance ahead of function. The indirect lighting in the rooms is nearly useless. The bathroom is small, with a splash guard mounted next to the tub instead of a shower curtain . It only extends half the length of the tub, which... more

This moderately priced hotel is just a short 15 minute walk to bustling Princes Street! Our room was perfectly positioned at the end of the hallway. It was beautifully furnished with modern decor. The bathroom was absolutely beautiful! The rubber ducky in the shower gave us a nice laugh. The free wireless Internet was very helpful. more

The hotel made a great mistake. It over-charged me 300 pounds. When I discovered the problem from my bank-statement, I sent e-mail to the hote. However, no reply was got. Then, I phoned it directly. The staff member said that she would ask the responsible staff to reply me as soon as possible. Unfortunately, 2 days later, I still could... more

Lifts not working, carpets dirty, facing a noisey road - nothing to recommend it really - but it does do a good breakfast (and all rooms have a funky pink duck in them). The reception area is also not fantastic. Avoid if you can find a better alternative... more

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, our lift was out of order during your stay due to failed safety gear. I am happy to report that this issue has now been resolved and our lift is fully operational again. We are about to embark on a refurbishment programme, including new corridor carpets, replacement mattresses, curtains and bedding. Kind regards Kirsty...

The lift (the only one) was out of order from our arrival to our departure (5 days). Tuesday 18 we've been waken up at 8:00 AM from workers hammering and drilling. WiFi signal in the rooms is very poor. No hairdryer and only 1 set of towels at our arrival. The place is clean but not as I expected. The... more

Thank you for your review. I am happy to report that our lift is now fully operational again. All our bedrooms have hairdryers stored in the desk. I have shared your concerns regarding our WIFI signal with my IT support team. Whilst this appears to be an isolated incident, I would appreciate if you could contact me with details of...

The previous reviews are correct, this is a clean hotel, but definitely needs a top to bottom refreshment of rooms and infrastructure. Carpet is stained in the hallways. The lift was working while we were here, but apparently was out for a short while as I saw a repairman leaving as we came back one day. But its very small:... more

This hotel came highly recommended on Trip Advisor, but my oh my what a let down. Firstly, you are paying premium prices. The lift was broken during our stay, and as I'm noticing from other reviews, it has been broken for quite some time. We had loads of fun lugging our heavy baggage to the 4th floor. Secondly, the rooms... more

Thank you for your review. I'm sorry that our lift was out of order during your stay with us. We had a team on hand to assist with all luggage to minimise the disruption during this period of necessary upgrading. I apologise if this was not available when you arrived. There is significant construction around the City Centre area at...
