Attended a wedding in Edinburgh and was again bowld over by Scottish Hospitality. Hotel staff were great and let me use a bedroom to get changed, and then let me check in to my own room all before 12 O'Clock - excellent service! Rooms were very clean and reception staff were very friendly. more

Stayed two nights in this hotel, did encounter the rather abrupt young man mentioned in earlier reviews! Room was lovely, looking over Princes Street and the Castle, clean and comfortable. The residents lounge bar was nice with friendly staff and good food. Breakfast was plentiful but I didn't dare attempt to make toast in the ancient oven thing. more

My daughter and I stayed here on a leisure trip. The hotel was right across the street from the train station, so it was easy to get to. The room was very nice, well-appointed and clean. The breakfast was excellent. Our room overlooked the corner and had a very nice view of the castle. more
