It was a nightmare finding the hotel, even with satnav, with construction works denying vehicle access. No parking and we had to find exorbitant parking blocks away. We found the staff to be welcoming and warm, the breakfasts tasty and served in beautiful surroundings and the rooms were of a good size. Be aware that there is no elevator access to the 1st floor reception although there is a lift from there to the other levels. Would definitely use this hotel again if we return to Edinburgh... More

This is a hotel with probably one of the best locations in Edinburgh. We stayed on the 6th floor in a triple room. The room was on the small side but to be honest accept for sleeping there we did not spend any great time there.
