The staff are very polite and helpful and the road that the hotel is located on is quiet. There are a few down sides to... More

5 minutes from Princes Street, the hotel is well placed for the delights of Edinburgh. We stayed just before Christmas and had a wonderful time. The staff are friendly and helpful and do everything they can to help. Breakfast was well presented, hot and tasty and dinner was excellent. The bed was comfortable and a nice large room was a... Christmas shopping trip, taking in the Christmas Market and a couple of exhibitions so decided against a couple of rail journeys to and from our home 60miles away and opted for The Royal Scots Club for an overnighter....booking by telephone could not have been simpler, the staff warm and friendly over the phone and the reception counter as we booked... Have stayed a number of times and had meetings in the Library. Its a great place to stay. We had a comforable bed, great breakfast, corridor a bit cold but the warmth and size of the room made up for it. More

The Royal Scots Club is a pleasant home away from home. I regularly stay here and am never dissappointed. This time it was a very comfy bed... no 1 priority and the food is excellent. Now they have installed a lift it is even better. More

This Club is open to "outsiders" on occasion. It is very special. Everthing was done for our comfort, the service very friendly and excellent, the breakfast copious, and,one could reserve for dinner(men should be prepared to wear a tie and jacket) in the elegant dinning room. The location was good for exploring much of the city by foot or by... More

I stayed at the Club because I was on my own and didn't fancy a hotel. My room was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful especially getting instructions on using the television. I had a newspaper delivered to my door really early and the breakfasts were very good. I was quite happy with the dress code and... More
