I didn't stay at the Glenora but I wish I had! Instead I had foolishly booked at a B&B next door called the Rosebery. When I arrived at the Rosebery exhausted after an all-day conference, I discovered a scribbled note taped to the door stating no one was in and in an emergency to telephone a particular number. After the initial surprise and ringing the bell a couple of times (I didn't have my mobile), I went next door to the Glenora to see if they could help. The wonderful staff person rang the Rosebery who claimed they didn't have a booking for me. I was livid because I had completed the booking myself by phone.
My deepest thanks to the very patient staff person at Glenora for assisting an exhausted and angry traveller in finally locating another hotel with an available room.
