A group of 10 of us stayed here for a hen weekend and were made to feel very welcome. The staff were friendly and accomodating and the rooms spacious and luxurious! They made us feel very special and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed to make our weekend one to remember. The main city... more

The hotel is well located on The Shore and has great access to the characterful bars, restaurants and shops. The room had a superb 180 degree view, was well furnished and comfortable. The complimentary bathroom products were lovely and even had a little sticker on them encouraging you to take them home. The breakfast showed thought and finesse, was beautifully... more

I stayed at Malmaison whilst on a Hen weekend and was impressed how beautiful the hotel is both inside and out. The Staff were always friendly and accommodating, the food and service was excellent. The hotel is easy to get to from the city centre and close to really lovely restaurants and bars. I've recommended it to several friends already!! more

What a treat it was to stay in this lovely hotel- it really made our trip to Edinburgh special. The instant you walk through the door here you feel at ease as the staff are so lovely and welcoming. Its classy, stylish yet it has a really relaxed ambience. The bar, bistro and rooms are all spot on too- I... more

Well what can i say! What an amazing weekend at an amazing hotel! We were staying as a group and all had rooms next to each other. Edinburgh is a beautiful city but what makes this hotel a leader is the location. In a peaceful part of Leith only 10 minutes by bus from the hectic city centre we had... more

I have stayed at the Malmaison in Leith on several occasions and it is a superb hotel in a fantastic location on "The Shore" with several great restaurants along that street. Leith is a really cool, upmarket area which has had millions of pounds spent on it transforming once deralict dockside warehouses into trendy bars and restaurants. I was stunned... more

The hotel is beautifully decorated, situated just a taxi ride away from the centre of Edinburgh's clubs and bars. The staff were so accomodating, friendly and added several little touches that made our stay even more special and memorable for our bride-to-be. We had no troubles getting to and from the city centre, there were regular buses and taxi's were... more

Lovely hotel in Leith, an up and coming area of the city which is close enough to the centre to be viable for a visit. Nice old building, good location surrounded by docks, pubs and restaraunts. (Try the pub next to Fisher's on a Sunday afternoon for live jazz and a real fire.) Fantastic rooms with a massive, truly massive... more

We booked this hotel for our wedding night and had explained that we would be arriving late because of the wedding. We had troulbe finding somewhere to park as the hotel does not have any parking. The receptionist was very rude and we were not shown to our room but left to find our own way. The lights in the... more

This hotel is Edinburgh's best kept secret! Just 5 minutes from the town centre this hotel is a real treat! Service from check in to check out was faultless and we could not have asked for more! The Brasserie has a great offer of locally sourced food, a fantastic winelist and swift service! We wanted to go out into town,... more
