Amazing old hotel set about 30 mins walk from the Royal Mile, set in its own grounds and with amazing decorations. The hotel is a fantastic place for a weekend away - romantic or otherwise. The service was great and the staff very helpful. During my stay in Edinburgh, I had a memorable afternoon tea in the Tapestry Room at Prestonfield. It's just a ten minutes ride by taxi from the city centre, and the setting is wonderful. So, if you can't afford the prices of the hotel, treat yourself with an afternoon tea in a place you vill remember forever. more

We apologise first by saying that our first choice was the Witchery hotel but we were not able to go because we had a 9 year old son with us and they do not take children.
