Stayed 3 nights and 2 days to see Edinburgh highlights. Right on Royal Mile. Stayed during fringe festival as we had Royal tattoo tickets. Checked in at 11.30 and told room not ready. No problem, they stowed our luggage. Had booked a family room and was told at the time breakfast was included. They tried to charge us extra for the children's breakfast but I queried this and it was agreed that their breakfast... more

Great location to stay in Edinburgh on the Royal Mile. Take your earplugs if you want to sleep there during the fringe festival - there are 3 fringe venues next door, and our room overlooked that side street. It was noisy - but in the heart of the action. Oh, and prices double during the festival season too. more

This hotel needs some updating. Our room was decent in size and the bed was comfortable, BUT the room was dark and dingy. The carpet was stained. The overall cleanliness of the room was not great as there was a fair amount of dust and dirt. The walls weren't particularly clean either. The room really needed a good deep cleaning.... more

Went for five nights before Edinburgh festival got into full swing. First surprise was a room upgrade on arrival - well done Radisson!
