As regular Travelodgers we knew exactly what to expect when we arrived. This is a very GOOD T/L. Clean rooms. Very friendly, helpful reception staff and 2 nights for a grand totlal of £38! This is a good travelodge experience. Rooms clean and tidy. The location is superb, just off the royal mile. Hotels are quite expensive in edinburgh so was pleased to pay £49. You do get towels, despite what one other reviewer says! You sort of know what your getting with travelodge and this was a good one. more

We booked this hotel as it was right in the centre and half the price of most other hotels in Edinburgh. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the location of this hotel was spot on! Couldn't have asked for anything better for the price. more

Apparently all traveldges are removing phones from the rooms, which means no wake up calls: and no clocks in the rooms mean you had better have brought your own. There is one bath towel, and it is not changed ever, there is no free internet access, no iron, no remote for the tv, and the breakfast (free at La Quinta)... more
