This hotel is across the street from the train station so it took us less than 5 minutes to get there with our luggage. Check in was smooth and friendly. We chose a room with a view (523?) which the woman checking us in warned might be loud but as we were high up, we took the risk. The view... More

We stayed here for one night before an Isle of Skye tour, and three nights after the tour. We were very pleased with the hotel, the rooms were quite large, the staff were terrific (especially one young man who I think must work 16 hours per day as he always seemed to be on duty), the breakfast was very good,... My fiance and I stayed here for a long weekend for my birthday. It so nice after a ramble around beautiful Edinburgh, being February winter was in full flow. But the cosy greeting and friendly staff soon warmed you up. It is only a few mins walk into the old town and a short walk over the bridge to the... More

We stayed here on the recommendation of our travel agent. Its not one of the cheapest, location was great for everything. Our room was lovely, good beds. Breakfast was a buffet. It was good. You could also order up extras..haggis, black pud, porridge etc. As we had to leave very early on the second morning we got a doggy bag to... More

We were woken badly on first night by drunks. ( could Hotel have done anything its impossible for us to know ) second... More

We had a good view from our room and a good breakfast in the dining room. The hotel was close to the rail station, High Street, restaurants, and museums. The staff was very responsive in replacing light bulbs in our rooms

We were in Edinburgh for 1 night for the Tattoo, $376 per night for a twin room, bit expensive but were prepared to pay for the convenient location, we were told before we left Australia that this Hotel had parking and it did at Waverley Train Station, not at the Hotel, just a short walk away so ok. Really close... More

The hotel's location is very well-appointed. It's only 2 minutes by foot from Edinburgh Waverley train station and just off the Royal Mile. I stayed there with friends during the Fringe Festival for a weekend in August 2014 and it was very handy to be able to walk to the various performance venues from the Jury's Inn. Edinburgh Castle is... More

After a day of travelling and a business meeting the next morning, I was not amused at all by the bins being dragged back and forth continuously from 5.30 am - extremely loud and kept me awake, even with the windows shut. I thought the rooms at the front of the building would be quieter but colleagues said there was... More

Booked this hotel for a two day break in Edinburgh at a cost of £200 room only for two of us.Standard room. Tad expensive at that price , clean, comfortable, well situated for Royal Mile,Princes street shops. Wouldn't pay that price again for what you get.
