A noisy room and lumpy mattress, worst night in a hotel we had. No breakfast included for the 125pounds we paid.

This Hotel was very central for sightseeing and shopping. Great location. The rooms were very clean. Shortcut out the back of the hotel onto the main shopping street. Views of the city from the rooms. The staff are friendly enough. The breakfast is average. Overall a good hotel to stay in.

We recently stayed overnight in Edinburgh. We have always previously stayed at the Blue Rainbow Apartments which are excellent but they have become a bit expensive for us, so this time we booked a room at Jury's Inn for £105 which we thought was a fair price for a central city location. However, it was very disappointing. As other visitors... More

If you're looking for a place to stay in Edinburgh, this is one of them. Here you're paying for the location: a block from Waverly Station and a stone's throw from the Royal Mile. But other than that, it's a very average hotel (think a Hamption Inn in the U.S.). I read on other reviews that the rooms were cold... More

We stayed over a week end, it was too expensive, room was cold, they gave us a plug in heater. The front of the hotel overlooked the railway station, so you can imagine the noise all night. no atmosphere in lounge/bar,no entertainment, food was typical pub grub made in deep fat fryer, overall I would not recomend to anybody. The only... More

I recently stayed for 1 night as was down in Edinburgh on business. After checking in I headed up to my bedroom and went to sit on the edge of the bed only to find the bottom half of the base was snapped on half. How the housekeeping hadn't noticed this I'll never know! After changing rooms I went to... More

Nice hotel with a Costa within their premises. Good part is its just adjacent to the Waverley Station and walking distance to Princess Street and Central Edinburgh Clean room and common area Well spoken and trained Staff The bad part is the Noise. If you have chosen the room facing the roadside then it will be too noisy . No... More
