Stayed here one night. Good central location - if arriving by train make sure you find the Market St exit which is just across the road from the hotel. Room a decent size and clean. Saw great sunset over Princes Street from window. Breakfast perfectly adequate. Would stay again.

The best thing about this place was the service. Everyone was really friendly (and checked in my flight for me...and stored our luggage free of charge). Located in between Waverley street station (3 min walk) and the Royal mile (1 min walk) this is perfect for exploring Edinburgh. Stayed in a double room which was spacious with a nice bathroom. Clean and can have nothing to complain about including the price for a 3 star. Did not have breakfast as preferred to eat out instead.

You can't beat the location (half way between the main train station and the Royal Mile) and it offers the basic amenities but there are annoying things about this hotel. For example, breakfast is 10 pounds/person if not included in the rate. The breakfast buffet is OK but you'd have to eat like a sumo wrestler to make it worthwhile.... More
