I recently stayed in the Jurys hotel with a few friends who were on a girly weekend. It was a great location- perfect for all the shopping and drinking we did. The hotel itself is really clean and the staff are great. Was our 1st time in Edinburgh and the manager at reception was giving us advise on where to... more

I have just returned after staying for 4 nights at the Jurys Inn Edinburgh with my husband and 1yr old son. When we checked in we were given a room with a shower, when I requested to move to one with a bath (my son is not used to the shower) the receptionist appologised and moved me without any fuss... more

Stayed over here for one night with 2 work colleagues for a course in Edinburgh. The location was ideal, 5 mins from waverly train station. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful. We had a room on the first floor with a double bed and 2 singles that was perfect for us, the bathroom was clean and shower was of a... more

During our extended weekend visit (sightseeing & going out) to Edinburgh we spent 3 nights at Jurys. Location is perfect with everything at a walking distance. Rooms are not very modern, but have good beds. If you have a room in the front and like to have your window open during the night, you will hear some noise of the... more

Spent a weekend in Edinburgh last week with the girls...it was a hen party so we were looking for good value, central location and Jury's came up trumps. Check in was efficient, rooms were clean and basic. There was a double and single bed in each room, plenty of towels and tea/coffee making facility. Initially we booked the rooms directly... more

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. I am happy to see that you enjoyed your stay with us. I am shocked that you would think that we would 'water down' drinks and can ensure you that this would never happen. We follow the letter of the law in all aspects of running our hotel. Good location, over looking Edinburgh train station, but can not hear it. Reception was fine, room very tired, the hotel put the heating only at certain times not 24 hours a day. Breakfast service was very slow the breakfast was mostly over cooked. more

I stayed here for one Saturday night in June on my way South. The hotel was booked as a last minute deal and at ~£70 room only it represented pretty good value (the Premier Inn down the road came in at £85 and the Travelodge at £70). The location of the hotel was idea for sightseeing and for transport links... more

Hi - myself and four friends stayed in Jurys Inn for the Heineken Cup Final in May. If you are going to Edinburgh -Jurys Inn is the place to stay- locationwise it is very central and you can walk everywhere! You are very near all of the sights, shopping and nightlife! I have stayed in a Jurys Inn before which is why I picked here, however this wasn't quite as nice as the other I stayed in. The staff were nice enough and our room was basic but clean. The location is really good with the station , pubs and shops all nearby. It is a nice clean hotel, however avoid... more

The check in was swift and the room was ok if a bit grubby. My room was positioned on the ground floor by the loading bay, so it was quite noisy in the morning. Otherwise it was fine. I had a bag stolen from my room containing a laptop, glasses & other bits. The police were called, but beware, please... more

Dear Trip Advisor, From reading your review I think you have reviewed the wrong hotel. Firstly none of our rooms are on the ground floor they are all from 1st floor up and can only be accessed via lift or stairs which are restricted by security key card access. Secondly we have not had a theft from one of our...
