We arrived in Edinburgh in June. This was my first visit to this quaint city I am ashamed to say. Upon arring at the Bonham we were greeted by the reception desk and told that we were being upgraded. Instead of the average hotel room we were allocated to a lovely suite with a four poster bed and extremely spacious... more

I rarely get the chance to go to hotels so when I do I make a big deal out of it. I was going to a friend's wedding and I spent a long time choosing my hotel. The Bonhams seemed like the pefect place. Refined, cool, chic and not too expensive ( I got a good deal as I booked... more

Superb hotel thanks to quiet location within ~6 mins walk of Princes St, stylish but not over-fussy rooms, and excellent staff. Our room (#1) had a 14' ceiling, two sets of doors to ensure it was quiet, a huge, gleaming copper bath that you could float in (if not quite swim!), and most welcome fluffy white dressing gowns. It apparently... more

I picked The Bonham based on other reviews and the fact that it was rated very highly in all the Edinburgh guidebooks I read, and we got a good rate (£109 a night including full breakfast). The hotel is situated in a semi-residential neighborhood that is within easy walking distance to Princes Street and about a mile from the Castle... more

The location of The Bonham was ideal for us, set in a quiet residential street but still within an easy and pleasant walk to all that Edinburgh has to offer. The quality and cleanliness of accomodation and public areas was fantastic. Our bedroom, superior double number 308, was beautiful and very large, much larger than many other comparable hotels we... more

Stayed at this hotel for four nights. Hotel staff friendly & helpful. Our room was on the third floor and was nice & clean. Room was serviced daily with fresh towels. Bed was comfy, only thing wrong was the pillows, they were a little hard for my liking, but really we could not complain. Thought Edinburgh a brilliant place and... more

myself and wife stayed on the 3/4 and 5th of October. we found the staff immediately helpful when we arrived, directing us to the car park at the rear, if all the spaces are taken you can double park as they are fully insured to move customers cars about when required...this instantly impressed me. room was great (312) with fantastic... more

We stayed at the Bonhom for 2 ngihts just for a bit of a break. When we arrived we were checked in quickly. However when we asked where the car park was, we were told round the back of the hotel but no directions were forthcoming. I know it's small but it was a little annoying. The room we were... more
