Three nights revisiting all haunts were perfectly based in this lovely, independent, self-catering pied a terre run by the non-stop Pippa and rather more laid-back Hugh Lockhart.... and their splendid son, George. Very comfortably equipped and situated just round the corner from my new favourite coffee shop, Artisan Roast, this is the ideal staging post for exploring the delights of... More

My partner and I stayed in the Gibson Room in this B&B for 2 nights and had a lovely time. The owner, Pippa, welcomes you with a cup of tea and biscuits, and takes the time to chat to you about your stay. The room itself was tastefully and sparsely decorated with a mix of modern and antique furniture, so... More

I stayed in this hotel for one evening with my partner and i cannot recommend it enough. We had the 'Jacuzzi Room' which is not advertised on the website, my partner called and requested it and we were not disappointed. Located at the bottom corner of the hotel, it is ideally situated out of the way to give you all... More

This was a strange B&B experience; on the one hand, some aspects were very good; but there were elements that detracted from the charm of the place. In a nutshell, for £115 a night B&B, you'd expect fewer detractions than we got. The pluses first - and there really are some elements which are tremendous. The location is superb, within... More

As a couple in their early 60's, we stayed in the Beauregard Room for 4 nights during our 12 weeks overseas to the UK, France, Italy and Singapore and certainly 10 London Street, Edinburgh is a lovely family home and our hosts Pippa and Hugh were great. However, viewing the website it looks absolutely stunning and it certainly has plenty... More

We spent a few nights when visiting Edinburgh and it was lovely. It was a very romantic place to be. This is actually a family home for Pippa, her husband and their young boy. Clearly he didn't really know what was going on when we arrived ! She's in charge on the B&B. A Brilliant host. We stayed in the... More
