Love, Love, Love! That is all we have to say! Thank you for taking such good care of us. The attention to detail and hospitality were outstanding. The food: fresh and generous. Amazing bread! Can't wait to go back!

I was recommended 20 Albany Street by a friend who said their stay there was fantastic. I had booked to go to Edinburgh with my girlfriend so thought that we would give it a try ourselves. I had high expectations as I'd been told how exceptional it was from multiple people, and they weren't lying! 20 Albany Street is possibly... More

My daughter and I stayed in the Robert Adams suite for six nights in January. We couldn't rate Albany St more highly. The room was beautifully appointed, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was very quiet. The thoughtful extras like the high quality toiletries and home made shortbread were much appreciated. The bathroom was outstanding, so luxurious. The breakfasts were absolutely... In recent years we have had several short breaks in Edinburgh for visiting shows, in some very nice hotels with mixed experiences, some excellent some just not so good. So this time we decided to try the B&B route as we have had some superb experiences further north with some amazing B&Bs. Very glad to say we weren't disappointed. The... More

We stayed in the James Craig suite for 3 nights at the start of December. Denise is the perfect host, and made us feel very much at home from the moment we arrived. Glass jars filled with Scottish shortbread, mint imperials and Maltesers to be washed down with a wee dram of local whiskey was certainly the warmest of welcomes... More

We spent 3 nights as a family 17-20 December 2013. Denise is a wonderful and classy host. The property is well located, spacious and comfortable. The rooms are large, breakfasts even larger. The trip advisor reviews are spot on - don't bother looking for any other accommodation in Edinburgh - 20 Albany Street is amazing !

I cannot praise Denise, Anna and her other staff too much. We stayed on a long weekend and were joined for Saturday breakfast by our daughter who lives in Edinburgh. We stayed in the James Craig suite and it was worth every penny. As other reviewers have said the B&B is within easy walking of Princes Street and St Bernards... More

We stayed in the Robert Adams suite for three nights in October. Loved it! Beautiful room in a beautifully appointed house. Denise is a classy lady, and her good taste is evident throughout. Beautiful art, furnishings, colors all contribute to a fine feeling of discriminating luxury. Breakfast was so so good. I would go back to Edinburgh again just to... More

We recently stayed for three nights at this gem of a B & B centrally located within easy walking distance of Princes Street. Certainly 5* all the way. Unfortunately we did not get to meet the owner, Denise but we were very well looked after by the housekeeper, Anna. We were greeted with coffee and cake a wee dram which... More
