This basic nothing special but nothing wrong hotel is on the outside of the real city center. But it's only a 10 min busride to castle. Busses go every 2 mins..... Rooms at the frontside of the hotel have the busstop right in front, so that causes some noise from 6am. Rooms are clean beds are ok. No luxury but... More

The staff at this hotel treated me with ultimate respect. I am disabled and the staff, especially Kirsty Elare and Colin, made sure that my stay was of a very high standard. Nothing was too much trouble from booking taxis to assisting me to carry my food at meal times. The menu was excellent and the food was well prepared... More

Me and my partner stayed here for 3 nights. We chose the hotel due to its proximity to city centre which is only 10mins ride away and the free car park. There is a shopping centre across the road and a very good bus service outside the hotel. The check in was very quick. The room was simple but fresh and... More

This is the first time that I chose Travelodge. Good location, easy to find. The room is very big and beds are very comfy, beddings are clean and new. We had a lovely stay. The only thing I would suggest is to avoid the breakfast, although it is quite cheap.

Stayed here for 1 night for the Edinburgh tattoo & I would defo stay here again, very clean, staff very friendly and breakfast just what you needed. Would highly recommend. Public transport great, as bus stop right outside and it's on the night bus route, saves on taxis

The hotel is situated on quite a busy junction so if you're in a room at the front of the hotel (as my friends were) it can be quite noisy. We had a ground floor room at the back next to the car park and it was extremely quiet but the room was cold and dark (we used the wall... More

We have stayed in many Travelodge's but this has been the friendliest and cleanest. Staff lovely, room great, bed and pillows really comfy. Plenty of parking. We used the bus once to get into town and back and we walked as well, took about half an hour. It was perfectly situated for us. We got to see early Fringe events... More

A couple of days before we were due to stay here we noticed that we had made an error on the booking, we had booked a double room instead of a family room. We contacted the hotel directly with hopes of sorting out the problem. The lady on the end of the telephone was incredibly unhelpful and sounded gleeful at... More
