The staff at this hotel are very friendly and helpful, a credit to the company and an asset to Edinburgh's tourist industry, very knowledgeable. Colin was especially good. The hotel is basic, warm ,clean and bed very comfortable. The food is of a fair standard and reasonably priced overall with large portion sizes, however breakfast is a bit basic and... More

Stayed here earlier this month with friends as we were going to the Edinburgh Playhouse to see Wicked (Great show!). Wasn't sure what to expect as always stayed with Premier Inn before - not anymore... This travelodge is perfect for the city, it's just far enough out to miss the hussle and bussle but close enough to be a 5-10min... More

I'm sorry to say this is the worst Travelodge we have stayed in. The room was clean but was really basic and lacked the homely feel. The room looked cold and empty. The location was ok ,as there is a bus stop right outside the hotel to take you into town. It cost 1.50 one way into which was ok.... More

We booked for one night (with breakfast) in early December 2014. In a word, 'superb'. Really friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was very clean and tidy throughout. The room was spotless and warm. The bed was really comfy, and everything worked as it should. The bar was clean and tidy. The bar area doubles as the breakfast dining area... More

This well maintained new style Travelodge very well positioned for Edinburgh centre and easily accessed by regular buses allows a comfortable stay in this great city. Friendly staff at amazing rates if you plan ahead and book early! This is our first choice whenever we return to my home city!

I visit Edinburgh every December and I've used quite a few hotels, including the various Travelodges. This one is easily my favourite. Travelodge has always been a decent room for a good price, but I'll tel you what, these newly refurbished rooms have the comfiest bed I've slept in. I always found the beds in Travelodge to be the worst... More

This travelodge is on the outskirts of Edinburgh but only a 15 minute £1-50 bus ride from the centre. The staff were very friendly and would help you in any way and nothing was to much trouble. The rooms were spacious and clean and the buffet breakfast at £7 was well worth it. Best of all was the price of... More

This is my 5th visit to this travelodge. Again basic accommodation in a very pleasant travelodge.Staff very helpful and good local knowledge. Great communicators and will chat when not attending to bookings etc. Bus services displayed in entrance and service at the bar good. Beds great and you can ask for anything extra. On this occasion I was visiting with... More

Stayed at this hotel as it was so convenient for transport into town, we used the local buses, and for us visiting family. We were lucky enough to get our rooms for £20 per night so made it exceptional value. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were brilliant, so cheerful and welcoming, very helpful, they made you want to... More

As I have said before you know what you are getting with a Travelodge. Clean, comfortable accommodation with a great bed. Cameron Toll is really good with great bus service in to city centre with all the attractions, bars and restaurants. Far enough from the city centre to avoid the dreaded stag and hen parties which plague the city centre... More
