Stayed for 7 nights on my own, while fighting off a fluey cold, so the hotel was very much my bolthole and a quiet and generally very comfy one it was. Bed made and bins emptied daily, towels changed every 2 days despite me always hanging them up! Ate breakfast there every day, and evening meal 3 times; I don't... More

This hotel is an out of town budget hotel which costs around the same price as a city centre independent boutique hotel. As far as budget hotels go you only expect the basics. However this hotel fails to provide even the basic amenities. Booked an overnight stay for two people , however the room only included one towel. Hair and... More

I stay here regularly and have done for some time as it is convenient for wor when in Edinburgh. Often the car park is busy, as it was tonight when checking in at 9pm. Usually this means parking in a disabled bay and when doing so, I tell them at check in so that if I need to move the... More

Second of four Travelodge stays. Good basic hotel, free parking, good breakfast and clean room. Good access by bus to city centre, bus stops are right outside and there is a very frequent service. Despite being next to busy junction there is very little noise when you are at front of hotel. Wifi is a bit mean, should be free in... More

We have used many Travelodges in recent years, and usually have been pleased. Our most recent stay was excellent from the moment we were heartily greeted by Clare, until the morning we left with a kind farewell from the male member of staff (sorry didn't get his name but was on duty overnight 18th/19th. May.) In fact all staff we... More

Booked this through the Internet and I can honestly say we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to help us they allowed our dogs in with us the rooms were lovely and clean and the beds were very comfy.

Room small, lots traffic noise. Couldn't order food because they were too busy, what they should of said was they were under staffed. Sadly will not be back, staff nice enough but sadly far too overwhelmed, will not be back.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Staff really helpful and friendly, room was comfortable and surprisingly quiet and the breakfast offered a good selection of hot and cold food. Spotlessly clean and handy for plenty of buses into the city centre. Highly recommended for a good value stay.

My family and I stayed at this hotel overnight. Excellent quality and nice staff! The Travelodge beds are now amazingly comfortable, and the showers easy to operate and luxurious. I would definitely stay here next time I visit Edinburgh.
