Just returned from a 3 day, 2 night stay. The Hotel is ideally situated in the centre of Edinburgh, very close to bars, cafes, restaurants, clubs and shops. The Hotel and room were very clean and ideal for a 2 night stay. The bed was VERY comfortable. The Hotel has NO amenities ie bar, café or restaurant. This was not... More

Booked in for a two night stay Sunday - Tuesday, very central and large room (208), having unpacked everything we returned later in day for a shower and the shower head was forced off with pressure of water resulting in a stream of water and a flooded bathroom. Told reception Straight away who logged it. Result - nobody came to... More

The hotel and its facilities were what were needed for an overnight stay in Edinburgh, however the toilet within the street facing room was constantly running and the staff were unable to help as it was the weekend, they did try but there was a language barrier as the receptionists English was not that good. Despite this the rooms are... More

Lovely hotel, bang in the centre of Edinburgh. We arrived at the hotel at 9 am and although Traveloge don't offer a left luggage service, the receptionist said we could leave our bags in their office, but obviously she wouldn't be responsible for them, or we could pay £10 and check into our room early, which we did. The foyer... More

I chose this place for its central location, which is ideal. I'm sure the website mentioned it had been updated/upgraded. I'm not sure how long ago that happened, but it didn't appear to be recently. It is what you expect from a Travelodge, fuss free comfortable no frills room. If I was looking for central Edinburgh hotel again, I'd certainly... More

Arrived at 1pm straight off train.Told that it was an extra £10 to leave my luggage in my room before 3pm check in even although my room was cleaned and ready!! Absolute rip off.Already paid £100 for a tiny dingy depressing double room.Noisy vent in wc meant terrible nights sleep. Only good thing was location but will go elsewhere for... More

This Travelodge is perfectly located for all central Edinburgh attractions and is only a couple of minutes walk from the tram which you can catch direct from the airport. Nice rooms and very comfortable beds. The website warned there may be noise due to the central location but the only noise we heard was the occassional collection of the empties... More

Really enjoyed the stay at Rose Street Travel lodge. Initially we went to Princes Street Travelodge by mistake but was glad we were staying in the Rose Street one as was slightly better located. Good for what we needed. Very easy access to local bars / restaurants / shops and tourist attractions. There is some slight street / nightlife noise... More

Stayed 2 nights in this centrally located Travelodge. Rose Street is lively at night and I have to say we were so tired at the end of 2 full days in Edinburgh, we simply didn't notice any noise even though the online information mentions it .No on site eating facilities but who cares when Rose Street is right outside .We...
