I've stayed at ths Travelodge a few times now and it is very convenient when staying in Edinburgh. It is located right in the centre of town in Rose street. It's only a few minutes walk from both Waverly train Station and St Andrews Bus Station and is directly behind the main shopping street, Princes Street. Restaurants, Bars and shops... More

We stopped here at the end of December for 2 nights, for the £76! It's about 1/2 a mile and 5 minutes walk from the station and the entrance is on Rose street just next to Robertson's pub which was open till 3 am, but the room had secondary glazing, and from our room on the second floor we never... This is our second stay at this hotel. I like it because of the vicinity to the shops and transport. The check in was nice and easy with a friendly receptionist. we had a nice big corner room, VERY CLEAN and the bed was warm and comfortable. Booking a lot in advance got us a very competitive price. Edinburgh could... More

very impressed with room, it was very clean and comfortable, such a shame the lift was out of order as there are a LOT of stairs to climb . It is very central and great for going around central Edinburgh, shops and areas of entertainment are fantastic, I would recommend but check the lift is working first

Good clean hotel in the centre of town, very friendly helpful staff. Stayed in this hotel a few times and happy with the room for the price we paid, The only little complaint i would have would be the pillows i did not have a great sleep because they were uncomfortable but i would recommend this hotel and i will... OK - it's a budget hotel so basic and a little rough around the edges; however, to stay right in the heart of Edinburgh in a comfortable, clean and surprisingly large room for £39 really is hard to beat. Superb value really when all is considered. Staff were cheery and helpful too. I only stayed here because there was very... More

Great location, typical budget hotel, nothing to write home about but no issues either. For the price we paid ( less than £30 ) we were more than happy but I wouldn't be happy had I of paid much more.

We arrived early on the day of our stay, the receptionist was so helpful and she managed to check us in slightly earlier which we was very happy about as we had an elderly relative with us. The rooms were lovely and clean and a good shower. The location was so good with everything within walking distance so you can... More

This was our second stay at this Travelodge and we stayed from 29 November until 1 December. Once again our stay was excellent, the room was huge again but this time we were at the front on the 3rd floor. It wasn’t too noisy and surprisingly found the Sunday night noisier than the Saturday. However we got a good night... More

Great hotel location for shopping in Edinburgh. Also near lots of pubs/bars/eating places (Bella Italia, Pizza hut, local pubs and restaurants (Jamie Oliver, Hard Rock Cafe etc...)) all in the vicinity or on Rose Street. We were given a front corner room which was massive! The only thing that let it down was the bathroom sink which had a massive... More
