We have just returned after staying in this amazing establishment for 2 nights. We used it as a base for a short city break. The premises is a large building in a quite residential area of town just a 20 min walk from Princes Street. There is paid for parking outside however Derek, the helpful owner, directed us to free parking... More

We had the pleasure of enjoying a 2 nights stay in the Robin suite. The B&B is in a good location for Haymarket train station & is only a 15 minute walk to Princess Street. The Robin suite is to an excellent standard very clean with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast is not to be missed. Derek & Tammy were very... More

Derrick was an excellent host. His two cats are adorable too. Allburys is situated in a central location- close to Haymarket station, city centre and is served by number of buses and coaches to and from city. You can really walk to Princess Street, if you fancy. Lots of open space around the B&B makes it very country like yet... More

I booked a 2 night with dinner stay for my parents as a gift for their golden wedding. They loved every single moment of their stay and both commented that the attention to detail was sublime. Derrick was both the perfect host and a fantastic chef. Money well spent

If you ever go to Edinburgh for the weekend, please don't pass up the opportunity to stay at this gem of a boutique B&B. There are simply not enough words available to do it sufficient credit. I booked this through a Groupon deal (not always available for this establishment), and was delighted when I was able to book the dates... More

Loved staying here, We found Derrick and Tammy at the front door enjoying the fresh air as we arrived. Derrick helped us to our room with the luggage (which doesn't always happen nowadays) and then showed us where everything in the room was and how to operate the shower/lighting etc. The facillites were great, (very good hairdryer in the room)... I'll admit that our stay with Allbury's got off to a bad start. When we arrived we were informed that we were not booked in, or in the system. We were asked to come back in a couple of hours. This in itself was fine, mistakes do happen. It was what happened when we returned that I had a problem... More

The Allburys is much more than a Bed & Breakfast. It can easily keep up with any hotel. Especially the delicious breakfast. Do not dare to miss it! The service is very friendly but never officious and the rooms are so cosy, you do not want check out at the end of your stay. Furthermore the location is perfect. Quiet... More

We stayed at Allbury's in February, what a fantastic stay. We were greeted by Derrick who made us feel very welcome immediately, he showed us to our room and explained where everything was and how it all worked. The room was beautiful, it was warm, comfortable, very tastefully decorated with state of the art equipment (both entertainment and bathroom). Dinner... More

I booked Allbury's as a first time visitor so was hoping it would live up to my expectations, it did. What a fabulous place to stay. Derrick our host, chef, guide fountain of all local knowledge was just great, his hospitality knows no bounds and the little extras like home made scones found on return of a long day sightseeing...
