My partner and I booked into Blossom House to stay over Hogmanay for four nights. We were very impressed from the moment we checked in, until the moment we checked out with the service we received during our stay. Our hosts went out of their way to accommodate us as guests and to ensure we were as comfortable as we... More

Only stayed 1 night but this hotel was great value for money. Only a 15 minute walk into town with plenty of bars, shops & eateries on the way. Great bus service too with stop just outside. Some parts in the hotel look a wee bit tired but it's clean, friendly & excellent value.

My wife and I spent five nights at the Blossom House to attend the Ryder Cup. Great location and nice stay- comfortable and quiet. Great breakfast and Mohammed and his family make you feel very welcome! Highly recommend!

The only thing that was good was the friendly lady of the house. The room was OK, but part of the sheets looked dirty. The shower's borders were dirty and the bathroom had a water damage smell to it. As I signed out it turned out the man of the house had forgotten to book my taxi to get to... More

This hotel was expensive for what it was. Its a long way from the centre of Edinburgh and is very basic. There is no lift and carrying your bag up the spiral staircase is a real effort. The bed was uncomfortable and bathroom is poky. Limited parking. There is a bus stop across the road that can take you into... More

Stayed here for 4 nights to do some sight seeing and to travel across to Glasgow for the commonwealth games. All in all I would probably rate this as a "good" place to stay - although there isnt that option on the rating system so have edged to very good as it definitely is not average! I would also add... Have just spent two days at this B&B. The welcome we received was perfunctory, not warm at all. When you enter the premises you are faced with a number of doors and then the rather steep circular stairs. of course there is no lift so if you have difficulty with stairs, this is a place to avoid. Over the two... More
