Good base for visiting Edinburgh and surrounding areas if you have a car. Just 3 or 4 letting bedrooms, 2 of which share a bathroom and separate toilet although each room has a washbasin - no problem for us and the only reason I didn't score it higher. Beautiful house and garden, and the best breakfast in Britain. Let's you avoid the nightmare of driving in Edinburgh, and with free parking at the local train station 5 minutes away it's a bit over 4 pounds round trip to the city center 3 stops away.

I stayed here for the Edinburgh Marathon last month and this lovely little B&B is definitely worth a visit for the amazing breakfasts if not the gorgeous surrounding countryside... Louise and Michael were so nice and interesting! Our room was very nice and with a great view. The owners were really helpful with all manner of things, especially thier computer when our flight was cancelled! The strike, not the volcano!! We really enjoed their easy comfort and delicious breakfasts!

Welcoming, interesting hosts, lovely breakfasts. Clean, comfortable rooms with lots of character. If visiting Edinburgh, park at Dalmeny station for free and go in by train, especially if it's Festival time.
