A great location, only 5 minutes on the bus into Edinburgh, or a few minutes longer on a pleasant walk. The staff and owner very friendly, flexible and informative. Lovely quality breakfast, clean rooms and fast wifi! Great value. Highly recommended.

Room spotless and cosy. Lots of breakfast choices available, from delicious home made jam to huge full Scottish breakfasts. Special touches like finding homemade cake in the room much... More

Great place, very friendly people and fantastic atmosphere. Stayed with Partner over new year period and couldn't be happier. Extremely clean. Tasty breakfast with good choice. Made to feel relaxed and right at home. If in doubt what to do while staying in Edinburgh, then just ask. The list is endless! Enjoy.

This was the second time I stayed and I loved it just as much as the first time. Some people say you shouldn't go back to a place but I would keep going back every time to Martin's Guest House because I think it is fantastic. The rooms are beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and very well presented, with subtle finishing... More

2nd time we've stayed at this lovely b&b. Good central location easy walk to attractions of Edinburgh. Fabulous breakfast. Only downside on this visit was loud guest at 2in the morning! Not the fault of the owner just one of those things!
