We stayed here during the Fringe-Festival. The hotel is clean and in a good walking distance to the centre of Edinburgh. It was very good for a short-stay in this city. The breakfast ist ok, but the restaurant is like a railway-station.

Staff really helpful. Mix up in accomidation when we first booked in and was given a free dinner ticket whilst the room was sorted out. Dinner really nice with plenty of selection. Room was clean although basic. Breakfast excellent. Will certainly stay here again.
Avoid at all costs. What a rip off. The tiniest of twin rooms, fire alarms ringing on and off all night, poor inroom facilities, and breakfast, well, what a ZOO, will need to be experienced to be believed! Room was clean, service non existent. Sleep was impossible due to noise from slamming doors other guests and a noisy toilet that staff did nothing to fix. If you like to dine in a refectory with hundreds of children then this is the hotel for you!!!. Have still to find the 3 cafes and 2 restaurants. Quality of the breakfast...

The only problem is the lack of free wifi, however, it's a great hotel! The breakfast is just incredible.
We had hoped to stay in the Salisbury Green but because it was full, the reservations desk suggested that we stay in the Chancellor's Court in the same complex. It was billed as a 3 star hotel, but imagine our surprise when it turned out to be nothing more than a college dorm room! For those wanting something more economical...
