We enjoyed a lovely walk up the river Almond. On the way we passed a pretty cafe so thought we would like to return for a cup of coffee. The coffee was wonderful so we stayed for lunch and it was all very nice.

Lovely big rooms which are beautifully done up! We got a delicious breakfast (especially the scones were superbe!!) and the service was just great! The area is very beautiful and it's just a short walk to the beach. I can highly recommend this absolutely gorgeous B&B!!

We set off from Fife today to visit Cramond Falls and discovered the absolute best home made scones in this beautiful cafe. The cafe rooms were so beautiful and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. She had time for everyone even though she was very busy. If you go walking here you really should be good to yourself and... More

An excellent location at the edge of Edinburgh but easily accessible to other beauty spots from the ring road which is just 10 minutes away. A very quiet spot (particularly at night) on the banks of the lovely River Almond with a promenade along the firth just 5 minutes walk away. During the day a popular spot for walkers.. The... More

A lovely B&B in an historic mill building along a river, in a park, just up from a harbor on the Firth of Forth, at the very edge of Edinburgh. What else could you want? Well, we also wanted to be close to the Airport for our semi-annual trips from the USA into the Borders; and it worked perfectly. Elaine,... More

We recently stayed at this B&B in the pretty village of Cramond. Edinburgh is easily accessible from the B&B using bus no 41 which runs very frequent. We were made feel very welcome and what stood out to me was the informality and friendly relaxed attitude the owner had. We had a nice room with ensuite. This was tastefully furnished... More

We decided to stay out of Edinburgh City centre as it would be expensive well we may as well have stayed in the city because the b and b was near enough the same price. Rooms provided you with what you needed, bed , en suite etc but were not worth their value. Also, we were woken in the night... More

delicious coffee, delicious sandwich and sensational millionaires shortbread. a very friendly place and an amazing stop off for a light lunch whilst walking along the waterfront. I often call in here when walking my dog along the waterfront down to the harbour. Seriously, the food is awesome, so fresh and tasty and mostly homemade. The scones...... if you like a... More
