I went there a couple of months ago. The same day I was supposed to go they called me and they told me that for health & safety reasons I couldn't stay in their hotel but that they were not going to charge me. It was during a bank holiday so I struggle another accommodation, in a very short time,... More

Stayed here for one night with my wife and 2 year old son. Alexandra was nice and friendly and gave us all the help we need...from baby bed to information. We were in room 2 and the room was very clean and comfortable. We had our own shower so that it was easy for us. Good location and reasonable price.... More

Brought my girlfriend for 3 nights.. Got met on arrival by the manager who was a pleasant fella. He gave us very helpful information on the bus times and stuff to do and see around the city. Room was lovely and modern with a flat screen TV hair dryer and kettle in the room. The bed was made every day... More

This place was a disaster from the moment we pressed the bell on arrival and then spotted a tiny handwritten note instructing guests to phone one of three mobile numbers. The call revealed that this establishment was totally unstaffed and we were given a code to retrieve a front door key from a key safe. Our own keys would be... More

as soon as we walked up to the property it says "Murrayfield Hotel" when in fact its a guest house. I wouldn't even consider it a B&B. Check in was insane and completely unprofessional. We rang the bell for over 10 minutes before finally giving up and calling the number. I had to use my U.S. phone to call. The... More

Stayed at this guest house for the princely sum of 99 pounds for one night. Arrived late and was talked thru the entry procedure by a lovely lady as there are no staff on duty at night. Then things went wrong. No bed side lamps just wires taped up. Pillows like wafers and no extra ones in room. Two tea... More

I write as a retired travel industry professional appalled at my own carelessness in booking this hotel even when nearly all other options were closed. All hotel booking portals should remove this establishment immediately from their lists, and no TA or other discriminating customers should go near it. We were over a barrel as post-Festival and just before University fresher's... More
