We stayed in a family room that could sleep 4 people, one double & two single beds, for 3 nights over a busy weekend (the Edinburgh Marathon Festival). It was clean, reasonably spacious, comfortable, and fairly quiet (we were at the back of the house overlooking the garden). The windows could open, which was good as the weather was warm!... More

Don't be put off by the poor reviews. OK this is a budget guest house so is not luxury. We stayed two nights . We had a very quiet room at the back overlooking the garden. It was warm [ February ] , clean , lots of coffee etc in the room, and the girl in charge was very friendly... More

This was the only lodging, during our 4 week trip, that we refused to stay in. The place was clean but not well furnished. Management was unresponsive to complaints (In fact, we never saw a staff representative on the premises). We phoned in complaints about lack of heating and hot water but were basically told to be patient) at 7:... More

Pay no attension to the bad comments, think people just need to realise that you get what you pay for. I paid £35 for a room for me and my husband for one evening for some where that was just clean warm n had a hot shower as we were departing at 4am for an early flight, we wasnt expectly... More

I found out the hard way that "if cancelled up to 3 days...25% will be charged" actually means 25% of room rate will be charged if you cancel the booking at anytime thereafter, & 100% of room if you cancel the booking within 3 days of check-in. Therefore, in plain layman's language, it means you will be charged 25% of... More

On the day I stayed here, they changed the address by phone without my agreement. Moreover, the place was a flat, and some people, who I didn't know, were living. I couldn't use not only internet service but also toilet freely, because there were no lock in the bath room. It's almost a fraud.

possibly the worst accomidation we have ever witnessed! On arrival we were excited as it looked quite cute however a typical never judge a book by it cover as inside was just a disgrace. We got to our room to drop off our bags then my girlfriend went to the toilet only to get locked in as the door had... More

First of all...it takes a lot for me to write a bad review! This was a last minute booking for £39 so we didnt expect much! We arrived to a room that was basic, quite dusty, TV with broken remote & a bathroom with no light! We arrived at 6pm which was out of hours so no staff so we... More

We went as two adults and a teenager for 2 nighs. We were very surprised on the service we had and how clean the hotel was for the price we paid. I did check the reviews first and decided to stay there. We were not disappointed. The decor looks new in bedrooms, modern. The bathroom was spotless. The beds were... More
