I can only say my stay was brilliant and I would have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone who is looking for a warm-welcome, good food and excellent accommodation. I only wished I could have stayed longer.

I managed to mix the day & date up around Burn's Night, but Wallace sorted it out and cancelled his own dinner arrangements in the process. If you are disturbed by traffic, then the back room is probably better for you. A lavish and very chatty breakfast topped off the stay.
