this hotel is well located -near the castle etc . also near a few strip clubs tho ! the staff were very helpful ;however it was very noisy -a booming wedding going . on far too long making it hard to sleep .

Stayed there about a week ago and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful though there were some down sides. I had a pre theatre dinner in the restaurant and it was delicious, but if you were hungry you’d probably not find the portion size adequate. For me it was fine. Convenient location yet quiet. Bar and restaurant food very good especially if you take advantage of the deals. Upgraded to room on 4th floor with castle view. Staff very helpful and friendly. Large room with huge bed. Would recommend.

Stayed here with boyfriend for a weekend in Nov 2011. Room was dark, there was only one light above the bed and a small desk lamp. Wooden panel on bath was rotting from damp and some the of the taps and towel rack were rusted. Would advise travellers to shop around before booking this hotel.
