I was really late to arrive after telling Wendy I would arrive at 9pm and didn't get there until 11:30pm after trouble with satnav and phone dying so I couldn't even tell her I would be late - however she had waited up for me and sorted me out as soon as I arrived so I could get some sleep.... Myself and 2 friends travelled to Scotland to run a Chilli Eating Contest at Scone Palace so we decided to stop over and have a night in Edinburgh. At relatively short notice the hotels in the city were too expensive so we looked for a place slightly further out with the help of Tripadvisor reviews and found this place. From... More

My wife found this absolute gem of a place. She booked two rooms because I was travelling to Scotland to travel on the reopened Borders Railway with a long term friend of mine. The owner Wendy is absolutely wonderful and we really enjoyed our stay. My room was spotless even the shower area which can be a let down even... More

I stayed for three nights at the end of the Edinburgh Fringe 2015, although my main purpose for my stay was to attend a local sporting tournament. I've stayed in several other guest houses and B&Bs in the area, but The Cameron is by far my favourite. Wendy and her family were extremely welcoming and attentive, with a made to... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night last week when we came up to Edinburgh to watch the Foo Fighters! First impressions were Wendy (the owner) was friendly and hospitable and the place was nice and clean. We had room two, at the front. It wasn't a massive room but it was definitely the right size for our... More

We stayed in Room 3 at the front of the house which meant that there was a bit of traffic noise, but it is on a main busy road and this was not a problem with windows shut. Wendy was very friendly, approachable and accommodating throughout our stay. She provided us with wine glasses and even offered a chiller for... More

The breakfast was good and plenty. There is so much to choose from you will probably eat too much. Room and bathroom are small. Location is great. We enjoyed taking the bus to town. Quiet! Traffic goes by but you get use to that but best of all - No Dogs barking in the neighborhood!!

Wonderful family run B&B. Very high standards, rooms clean, comfortable and lots of thoughtful extras in the room. Wendy and the family run the B & b in a very homely and friendly way. Harry their son is very polite, welcoming and a great help. Breakfast was very generous and all freshly prepared. Really enjoyed my stay and would highly... More

I would definitely recommend the place. This is a lovely Bed and Breakfast and Wendy, the host, is very helpful and nice. You choose what to have for breakfast the night before and it is freshly prepared the next morning served in the dining room. The room is nicely decorated, comfortable bed and enough space for two people. The heating... More

Really enjoyable stay at the Cameron B&B this weekend visiting for the 6 nations game. The room was huge and had everything you could want from a B&B. Wendy & Norrie work tirelessly for the guests to make sure they've got everything they need for an enjoyable stay. Full scottish breakfast every morning with cereal/flapjacks/muffins etc was brilliant! Easy access... More
