We stayed here as a walk-in as the apartment we had booked with a different company fell through on the day. I must say the price and location were amazing, we were on the 6th floor with a sea view. Although 2 bedrooms there were only 2 of us, so space was not an issue, the facilities were all there,... More

Location was great with spectacular views of the Firth of Forth, easily within 100m of the seafront with easy access to walks along the side of the waterfront. Apartment was well equipped and the basics were provided such as tea ,coffee and milk portions. Staff were very helpful at reception. 24 hour Asda was only 2 minutes away and a... More

The main advantages of the Hot-el Apartment is its quiet location, and great views of the Firth of Forth. Leith is close by with its boutiques shops, restaurants and attractive harbour. There is also a huge shopping centre and multi-screen cinema within a very short drive (or brisk walk). Central Edinburgh is a 20 minute bus drive away. Service at... More

Modern apts, good for being out of the city throng but easily accessible to the centre and all shopping and attractions, regular bus to the city centre, 15 minute journey. 24 hr Asda within 2 minute walk for food. Apts well equipped with washer dryers, dishwashers, hobs, ovens fridges, landlords supply tea, coffee, milk and sugar and soaps for the... More

Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. While the apartment is spacious and well located for jaunts into Edinburgh, being right next to a bus stop, as well as being quiet and coming with secure parking, it is also "tired" below the surface (well worn carpets, broken down mattresses, floors visibly uncleaned under the furniture, dirty windows, etc), and cheap (faux... Absolutely terrible customer service received from this hotel/apartment. Had a booking on 13th December and we took great care of the apartment, tidied up prior to leaving and handed both sets of Keys back to reception. The hotel are claiming we caused damage to the drain in the bath and also caused a hole in the wall at the back... More

I normally end up staying in a Premier Inn style hotel/motel whilst away on business, but took a plunge and booked a single bedroomed apartment for a couple of nights as it was cheaper than the Holiday Inn Express across the water. Firstly the location is a little out of the way, but there is a bus link that runs... More

Having stayed here in January 2014 I had no hesitation in booking again but maybe not for a third time. Again, we had a 2 bedroom apartment with lounge/kitchen. Well equipped but the rooms were looking tired. There were marks on the curtains, the headboards and I don't know when the valances were last changed. Both the en-suite and bathroom... More

We stayed in a 3 bed apartment as two families in block 7 room 27(9th floor) and were pleased with a clean and functional apartment with excellent views all around the city, especially the Royal Yacht. The receptionist was very polite and helpful and the directions to the room were excellent. Parking is a bit hit and miss but with... More

Visited during half term October 2014. Certainly cannot fault the location looking over Firth of Forth towards fife. Bus stop nearby means you can get bus to city centre in 15/20 minutes - don't even think about driving your car into the centre and trying to park, some of the most extortionate prices in UK. However, we flat that the... More
