Just returned from a fabulous 3 night stay at Browns B&B. We had a lovely quiet, clean room and the bed was so comfy. Almost every need is catered for in your room from wash bag items to sewing kits, alarm clock, hairdryer etc - you almost only need to bring your clothes! and an excellent stocked welcome tea/coffee tray... Spent 5 nights here recently. Very clean with comfortable beds and good location. Excellent breakfast and the hosts were very friendly and particularly helpful in advising on where best to eat in the evenings. We highly recommend this accommodation.

We recently stayed at Browns for two nights and had a very pleasant stay. The rooms are nicely decorated and well equipped and there are many small details that are a cut above your average hotel room setup such as the Ibis etc. The breakfast was both well cooked and very generous, and the owners were delightful and accommodating. I'd... More

My husband & I had been touring the UK by car since the beginning of June. We had stayed in many different bed and breakfast places along the way. We found Browns to be one of the most spotlessly clean, even a tray for your shoes! The room was exquisitely decorated & had the usual supplies of tea/coffee facilities &... More

What a gem! We found this B&B on Trip Advisor and emailed. Marion was quite helpful in arranging our visit. We actually had the place to ourselves as we had enough folks in our group to take every room. The place is spotlessly clean, the meals were the best in Scotland and the location was perfect for our week long... More

Beautiful-, absolutely clean room, delicious breakfast and very lovely staff. Eventhough the B&B is close to a mainstreet you don't hear any noise in the room. We slept wonderful. A lot of small details made the stay to a perfect visit. Big variety of teas in the room, soap for showering, cotton swabs, first aid kit...etc. It was even thought... More

Never been to Edinburgh before and really enjoyed it. Much rested on how good the hotel was and it is! Good value for money, good food, good room and excellent, helpful staff. Would stay again without hesitation.

We had a fantastic stay on the weekend of the Edinburgh marathon, Marion and Norrie were fantastic hosts, the rooms were spotless, the breakfast was lovely, they catered for my boyfriend who is gluten and dairy intolerant and the complimentary biscuits and toiletries were a lovely touch. The location is great and if you have any questions Norrie knows everything!!!... More

I stayed at this lovely Bed and Breakfast for 5 nights at the beginning if May and I enjoyed every second! The hosts are very kind and helpful. We got a lovely breakfast every morning and even breakfast to go, if we got up very early due to a day trip or our departure time. The rooms are lovely decorated... More

Together with three colleagues of mine I spent four nights at Browns B&B. And all I can say is that it is the perfect place to stay when you would like to visit Scotland´s fantastic capital. The rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast is delicious, the city centre is within walking distance and, last but by no means least, Mr... More
