Together with three colleagues of mine I spent four nights at Browns B&B. And all I can say is that it is the perfect place to stay when you would like to visit Scotland´s fantastic capital. The rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast is delicious, the city centre is within walking distance and, last but by no means least, Mr... More

My sisters, mum and I just stayed for 1 night here as we were going to the Playhouse to see a show! What a really lovely couple who couldn't do enough for you, rooms were immaculate and excellent breakfast! Brilliant location and we will definitely be back. 5 minutes walk to Playhouse and Princes Street so very handy.

What can I say about this place that hasn't been said before? A lovely wee bed and breakfast which is truly a home from home. Decor fab, hosts lovely, lots of lovely touches in the room and only a 5 minute stroll fo the playhouse. Lots of take-aways, restaurants, pubs nearby as well as tesco express & co-op. If you... More

What a lovely bed and breakfast in Edinburgh, Browns took our booking as a last minute plan as we'd been let down by another and we were grateful for this but everything defiantly worked out for the best as we couldn't of asked for a nicer place to stay. I arrived with two friends at 11.30am and we were able... More

Well were we can start... Hosts Marion and Norrie are absolutely fantastic and go out of their way to ensure you have a nice stay and make the most of your visit to Edinburgh. The room was very clean, as was the bathroom. It was the little touches made our stay even better like a generous mug each for a... More

Coming from the US, I was a little nervous about how casual the reservations were. I'm used to giving a name, address, phone number, credit card, etc. and then getting threatened to within an inch of my life if I dare make any changes within the sacred 24 hours of arrival. Marion just wanted to know when we would be... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at Browns for the Hogmanay New Year celebrations. We cannot speak highly enough of both the accommodation and level of service we received during our stay! Firstly the B&B itself was very clean and comfortable. We stayed in room 2 which was large and bright, excellently decorated with a lovely en suite. The room was... More

Myself & a pal arrived quite late due to travel time, but we was met by Norrie with a warm welcome & big smile & put us at ease instantly. The room was brilliant for us, clean, spacious & very comfortable, small bathroom but no problem. Breakfast is very good with good timings, never had a B n B with... More

I spent 5 days in September at Browns B&B, and enjoyed my stay. The B&B is in a good location close to city centre, transportation, atms, and restaurants. Marion and Norrie are great hosts, and very helpful. My room was small, but was nice and had everything I needed. The B&B was very clean.
