My friend and I went to Scotland for a 10 day trip and stayed at Ramsay the first two days. Our luggage didn't make the connecting flight and Sharon and her husband went out of their way to help us get it back before leaving town for the next leg of our trip. They took the phone calls and made... more

I won't re-hash what everyone else has said. I'll simply say this: I can't believe this B&B isn't number 1 for Edinburgh because it is THAT good. ...And the location is fantastic, especially if you like a good feed and a decent drink. There is even a coffee roaster (Artisan Roast) on Broughton St who make proper coffee (ie. espresso/latte/cap,... more

Stayed 3 nights, and returned for a final night after touring around Scotland - the room was immaculate, with everything we needed, and hosts Sharon & Norrie couldn't have done more to make our stay easy, relaxing and welcomed. We appreciated the small details like our luggage being carried for us, tea coffe and shortbreads in the room, fresh air... more

If you are going to Edinburgh you must pay a visit to Sharon and Norrie (and little Morgan) at Ramsays B&B. Both Sharon and Norrie are so friendly and make you feel welcome right from the moment you step foot into the B&B. The house is spotless the rooms are spotless and the food is just like what your mother... more

If you are travelling to Edinburgh you simply must stay here. This B&B is wonderful, centrally located and easy to find, a pleasant 10 minute walk to the Royal Mile. The hosts, Sharon and Norrie are the nicest people, very warm and welcoming - after only a 2 night stay it was like leaving old friends. The rooms are very... more

We had a lovely stay at Ramsays; Sharon and Norrie were great hosts both very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was first class as was the room / facilities. Easy location wise with a short walk down hill (makes all the difference in Edinburgh!) from the Train Station in a lovely part of town. Fantastic will go back!! more

We were advised where we could get a bus back into city centre. It is whithin walking distance but one of our party has walking problems. The room was immaculate and we were shown how the shower worked and the tea/coffee facilities were... more

We stayed 2 nights at Ramsay's b & b. We were warmly greated by Norrie and showed to our room. It was down a fairly narrow flight of stairs but not a problem for us. Excellent room overlooking the backyard. Wonderful attention to detail from the decor of the room to the great toiletries in the bathroom. The room was... more
