We stayed at Ramsey's 8th Nov '14 it was the best b&b, spotlessly clean, beautiful decor, and the breakfast was delicious. We will recommend to our family and friends and we will definately be back again. Thanks to Norrie and Sharon for a lovely stay. Only 10min walk to theatre, shops, restaurants Marie and tony(bellshill)

We felt so much at home at Ramsay's...Our hosts were so kind and thoughtful. We enjoyed the wonderful breakfasts and really appreciated the generous takeaway meal Sharon prepared for us for our long bus tour.very early in the morning. This truly was a wonderful experience for us. Jim and Anita Bell

This B&B is perfectly situated within walking distance of train, all the sightseeing spots as well as Princess Street shopping. Many VERY nice restaurants also within walking distance. We stayed 2 nights, had a lovely room and were personally greeted by the owner with a spot of whiskey upon our arrival. Of all the places I stayed in this latest... More

Norrie and Sharon provided us with an excellent time-it was faultless! The breakfasts were generous and appetising and accompanied by Norrie's tips on places to visit everything was perfect .Evelyne's very first visit to Scotland was a wonderful experience and much of it was due to our stay at Ramsay's . What can I say but the Best B&B I have stayed in for many years. The owners were more than landlords, they quickly became friends and are what those of us who like B&B's appreciate the most when traveling. Location was perfect, easy to follow directions from airport using the tram. Cleanliness was the tops. The full Scottish breakfast with... More

We stayed with Sharon and Norrie for three nights in Edinburgh. Upon arrival we were treated to a shot of whiskey from Norrie's private "stash". They were warm, friendly and very informative in helping to plan our days. The rooms are immaculate, decorated beautifully, tea and biscuits offered daily; and after a long day of touring you come home to... More

Ramsays was so easy to find - just a short walk from the new tram. A bright and warm entrance, firm handshakes and smiles and before I knew it there was a wee dram in my hand. My room was cosy and compact and immaculate. My host insisted on driving me around Edinburgh to show me how to get to... More

Ryder cup visit. Early starts . Sharon prepared breakfast package for us to take away and helped with the transport arrangements. Great breakfasts on the day we were not going to Gleneagles. We hope to get back soon. Don't bother with anywhere else in Edinburgh.

The Ramsays ensure every need of their guests is fulfilled - even before their guests know the need exists. Our room was well-stocked with items - large and small - that made us feel right at home. Breakfast was wonderfully individualized and prepared to perfection. Norrie was a very personable host! We would definitely revisit.

We stayed with Norrie and Sharon for three nights and they were great hosts. Upon our arrival Norrie served each of us some single malt scotch. The room was very comfortable and the breakfasts were cooked to order. In addition, there was juice and cereals set out. The Ramsay B&B was well located; only a nice fifteen minute walk to... More
