It was well worth the money, clean enough, the bar/cafe area was warm and welcoming. The room did prove to be more than a little noisy but even that didn't ruin the stay. The staff were lovely and very helpful.

A very nice place to stay. Very easy to get to the heart of Edinburgh either by foot, bus, tram or train. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room we were in was very big, it lacked a wardrobe and chest of drawers but there was ample hanging space and shelves above. The toilet and shower room was also... More

Stayed here again as it's reasonably priced and near the city centre. We booked for an early check in however the weather on the West Coast stopped this from happening, however the lovely receptionist changed this to late check out for us! The room itself was as you can expect from this chain, needs a bit of TLC but overall... More

We booked here as it was so cheap and quite good for us location wise. But I wouldn't stay here again and I would just warn you that cheap price really does get you cheap value. No hairdryers in the rooms and only 10 between the 60+ rooms means you can easily be without (like us for 3.5 of our... More

Amazing Venue. Beautiful Building, Stunning Architecture, Friendly staff, Well located just 5 minute walk from train station and tram/bus. An absolute gem amongst travelodge venues. This venue has option for dinner and breakfast and it is well worth adding them to your booking. fantastic tasty food

Ok, so I wasn't expecting the ritz, but I also wasn't expecting to have so many problems that I've not previously had in budget hotels (if £70 per night can be considered buget): - room stank of stale cigarettes - lack of towels and bath mat - no hairdryer available at reception (there were about 10 for the whole hotel... First time in this Travelodge and certainly was not disappointed. From the friendly welcome to the immaculate room and the great breakfast this was indeed the perfect stay. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Easy quick walk from Haymarket train station and a tram stop. Staff were very friendly throughout my visit, particularly during check-in. It is a no frills hotel but I was very surprised at the size of the bedroom, much larger than usual. Room very clean with kettle and coffee in it. There is a lift, although there are a few... More

Arrived to a large room which was heated by one small storage heater this made the stay not enjoyable as we had to huddle in together . It is 2014 not 1814 C'mon Travelodge please heat your rooms properly.
