Our booking was made on the basis of the information provided through the Booking.com website at the time of booking, which included a large number of photos of the hotel, what a shock when we turned up at the place. Firstly we had booked into the Glenrose Hotel, which is listed at 15 Mayfield Gardens, Edinburgh. The Glenrose signs on... More

Was sent here by premier inn as they said they were full. Rooms were filthy with what appeared to be old syringes lying on floor. Drunk man tried to urinate in our room. Staff were rude. Worst experience of a guest house we have ever had.

Stayed her for 2 nights in September... no wonder it was the only place with a vacancy on a friday night!.. The staff were rude (except for the young girl at reception in the evenings) The bathrooms had bits of the wall missing behind the toilet and it was difficult to get clean towels.. At checkout time the staff member... More

Had a basement room with see through curtains, no curtains at all on bathroom window visible from parking area above, toilet seat would not stay up in shared bath, no towels or bath mat in bathroom, no soap that I could find, fluorescent light in room that buzzed when on. Overall, given the mattresses and brooms and mop in hallway,... More

Arthurs View Guesthouse is so called as you can see Arthur's Seat from the living room window... This is a victorian property that has been converted into apartments. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment for a weekend. The place is so lovely. It is really well decorated inside, the rooms are massive, and well equiped. I think this is... More
