We spent a wonderfull weekend at Overhailes and can only say it really is faultless. From our welcome late on the Friday evening to breakfast on Sunday morning the hospitality was what you would expect from a five star hotel but with a welcoming and personal feel. We stayed in the Cream suite which was was very comfortable with the... More

I work in Edinburgh on a fairly frequent basis, and happened across Overhailes whilst searching for accomodation. Whenever I'm in, or even close the the area I make it my first point of call. What a gem, from the friendly greeting, and the offer to carry my luggage, to the immaculate and beautifuly furnished rooms. The most comfortable bed in... More

Really enjoyed our stay here. Very relaxed atmosphere, given that the property is part of a working farm. We reveived a warm welcome, the room was sensational (named Cream Suite) spread over two floors with separate & bright living room area, bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast was truly amazing - we ate at Chez Roux in Gullane the night before which... More

My wife and I were in the area for a golf trip and needed somewhere to stay before the drive home. Once again the reviews on TripAdvisor came up trumps and we booked the Overhailes Farm B&B. From the moment we arrived we knew we'd chosen the right place. The farm is in a secluded location and thus wonderfully quiet.... More

We came to East lothian for a wedding and were recomended this place by some local residents, they knew what they were talking about! The rooms were enormous, comfortable and well furnished. We had so much cupboard space, we didn't know what to do with it. There were individual sized bottles of Evian on your bedside table, tea and coffee... More

This was the best Bed and Breaksfast I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in hundreds. Our flight was delayed and landed into Edinburgh at 2am and the owner volunteered to drive half an hour to the airport to collect us so we didnt have to wait and pay for a taxi. Our room was enormous with a... More

This was quite frankly excellent - we hit it as an overnight stop between Aberdeen & North Yorkshire. We were shown to the " Master" or " Peach " bedroom, with lovely views across the valley to the ruins of Hailes Castle. Spacious room, bathroom & walk-in closet, all tastefully decorated & comfortably furnished, & lo! 2 well-positioned bedside lights... More
