Stayed with my Father as part of a coach party for the Edinburgh Tattoo. Room was very comfy. Pop's did gripe about it being a disabled room yet had the shower above the bath! However he coped.Although the restaurant is on the first floor there is a lift. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the kitchen staff went the extra... More

One of the thing that is unique about Park Hotel is this hotel is really near with the rugby stadium. The guests can also feel the dynamic atmosphere that is near from the stadium. The good environment with neatly organized houses makes it comfortable to go for a walk and spending time. However, when there is a group of players... More

On a match day the park hotel has a real lively and buzzing atmosphere about the place. Despite the busy pace the staff are quick, pleasant and happy. The place is clean and tidy but could do with a couple more tvs and seating with tables. Overall its the place to be on a saturday... Who knows who youll meet... More

Stayed the week whilst "doing" Scotland. Based here whilst going to the Military Tattoo in Edinburgh, Royal Yacht Britannia (also down Edinburgh way) and the Scottish Maritime Museum in Irvine. Rooms just fine, food good and staff very pleasant and smiling. We were part of a tour group and most seemed happy with the four nights stay there. Some were... More

Positives: Nice rooms, comfy beds and friendly staff...average hotel. Lady on reception was helpfull and welcoming Negatives: clinical feel to the restaurant and bar, lacking in atmosphere, food average, drinks pricey. Wine waiter seemed to get more wine on the table than in our glass.

Me & my fiancé like to get away child free for a relaxing night away from time to time and decided to stay at the park hotel this time. Have to say the place is spotless & the staff are very nice and helpful, the room was huge and the bed was comfy which is always a good thing. Went... More

Stayed only 1 night, 2nd time we have stayed though in a few years. Surprisingly large rooms, modern furnishings, comfortable beds. Only thing we would fault with the room is no minibar fridge, we had a 1yo and so needed to keep milk cold. Had a family dinner in the blues restaurant in the evening, food was good and reasonably... Had a short stay with a golfing group. Ideal location for local amenities and golf courses. Difficult to find anything bad about this hotel. Open and airy public spaces; rooms are big with comfy beds and good showers; staff are friendly and helpful. Short of the individuality that would get an "excellent" but nevertheless a good place to stay.

Stayed overnight, ample parking and it seemed that the place was not busy. The young lady who checked me in was pleasant and helpful. My room was of a decent size with everything you would expect in a 4* hotel. I took a room service dinner and it was very nice, not too expensive and promptly delivered. Breakfast was good... More

Stayed here last Saturday night as part of a wedding party. Efficient check in (very pleasant girl) and a nice clean modern room. Bought a "pre wedding" drink to tide us over in the bedroom whilst getting ready - first place I have EVER been where a pint costs more than a glass of Prosecco, so if your gal likes... More
