This hotel is a good mile away from the town centre, so you need a car if you want to eat out (particularly if it's raining/snowing as it was during my stay). It's really a Travel Lodge in disguise - MFI furniture/basic room fittings/cheap bed and foam pillows, but it is attached to a "Sports Bar" and there is a... more

Enjoyed a one night business stay at the Park Hotel. I don't have too many comments on Kilmarnock as a tourist destination, however, if you are in that part of the world I would recommend staying at this hotel. The rooms were spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The staff were helpful and friendly. The... more

GOOD Place is good to stay for kids because it's big and spacious inside. Most of the staff is very friendly. Offering free wireless Internet access if you have your own laptop NOT GOOD AT ALL Even there is a big downside; the place is not environment-friendly at all. There are electric radiators in use, no proper radiator, may OK... more

My husband uses this hotel regularly on business but this was my first time. It is a modern building in a strange setting next to a football stadium - but don't let that put you off. The hotel and bedrooms are spotlessly clean and the food very good - eat by 6.45pm and get a great deal on two or... more

I stayed for 1 night. The hotel is next to the Kilmarnock football ground so not a great location. However everything else was good. Check in, friendly local staff, modern spacious room, free wireless internet, excellent room service and cooked breakfast, potato cakes were great! There is access to a leisure facility a short walk from the hotel. Didn't try... more

My Husband and I (sound like the Q of E!!) have just returned from Kilmarnock where we went for the weekend for a family party and my man's business meeting. We stayed at the Park Hotel for 2 nights - I can recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in the area- not far from the centre of Kilmarnock... more

Very good find in Kilmarnock. The biggest pluses: the room was very quiet--no vending machine outside, no ice machine, no elevator, no odd noises in the room or hallways. And, quiet outside! Our room faced a courtyard on the ground floor, but you could hear a pin drop. Also, the bed was not unduly hard, nor soft--just right. Bedding clean,... more

Stayed here for 2 nights while attending the "retrofest". The food is absolutely great - we booked a dinner on first night deal and gald we did. The service was good and kind of informal - had a bit of a laugh with our server. Great feeling having just driven 3 hours from Aberdeen to sit down have a beer... more
