What a surprise, when we arrived with our coach party I wanted to cry...but...to my dissmay...we were greated by the young lady who is the general manager, she was very friendly and knowledgeable. When you pull up outside the Howard Park Hotel you will wonder why on earth you booked in! Two night stay in September 2004. Friendly welcome and nice newly decorated room. Had dinner in the restaurant, the soup was obviously freshly prepared, and steak was cooked exactly to my liking. Staff and service very good. Conference went to plan with bacon rolls and tea / coffee as requested. I'll have no hesitation using the Howard Park Hotel again. more
