Was made to feel welcome from the first step through the door. Gorgeous breakfast. Lovely family running it. I'm going back to Dundee again and I'll definitely be staying there again. more

My wife, Janette and I stayed for four nights. We have been in Dundee four times in the last two years and always used hotels: never again. The Albertaa Guesthouse beat the hotels hands down. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners Hazel and John. It was more like staying with friends than being somewhere new. more

We stayed at the Alberta guest house in Dundee for a few nights in March as I wanted to visit my son during his first year at university. I can't praise the Alberta and owners enough for their attention to detail, warm and welcoming personality, helpfulness and just in general super 5* + standard of service. We are planning another... more

Just realised we could respond to reviews! Thank you so much for your kind words, although I think we should point out, in order not to disappoint potential guests, that we are definitely NOT 5 star and would hate people to come here expecting that!!! We're just a comfy little family-run B&B doing our best ... You shouldn't come here...

We spent three nights at Alberta Guesthouse and our stay was very pleasant. It is a family run B&B and the owners are so welcoming and accomodating (we were travelling with our young baby!). The room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable, we were provided with a travel cot for the baby. Oh and the breakfast is excellent,... more

Wow! What a friendly place. We really felt at home. We enjoyed getting to know the innkeepers Hazel and John as well as the other guests. My Boyfriend and I stayed at the Alberta Guest House and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was great...clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and had a larger variety than expected. No wish remained... more

Some months ago i had been in Dundee for the first time in my life with my son who would start studies there. I decided to go with him suddently so my stay there was a problem. Fortunately, i was lucky because that' s how i found "ALBERTA" and her extremely friendly and hospitable owners. My stay there was so... more

Stayed at Alberta during last minute business trip to Dundee. What a pleasure & everything you could wish for from a B&B. Family run (lovely people), welcoming, friendly, warm & clean. Room was very comfortable and breakfast was superb, saw me through a busy day that did not allow for lunch. I would not hesitate to recommend & I WILL be... more

My wife, daughter and I stayed at the deservedly popular Alberta Guesthouse about a week ago (Sep 2008) and we couldn't have enjoyed it more. The Alberta is exactly how a family run guesthouse should be. A great welcome (relaxed and in no way forced which must be difficult to achieve on a daily basis unless you really love meeting... more

My husband and I stayed at the Alberta Guesthouse after finding it through a simple web search. The purpose of our trip was to tour around and visit family who lived nearby. The first time we went to Scotland several years ago we stayed at a much more expensive B&B and kept missing the breakfast if we slept passed 9am.... more
