Since my last review; I have stayed here on two other occasions, and I am pleased to say that the whole experience has been at the same consistently excellent levels as in my initial posting. The staff has remained largely unchanged since my stay in 2010; and the levels of service and hospitality are second to none. The building, hotel... More

Found this place on internet when looking for somewhwere to stay before Leuchars Air Show the next day. Very busy pub (Friday night) - but welcomed warmly, shown to simple, clean, comfortable room with good en suite. Ate out - but dining room busy with diners clearly enjoying the food. Breakfast enjoyable. Outstanding, friendly and concerned service from all staff... More

The Fisherman's Tavern is a very nice little Hotel/B&B with very helpful, friendly and funny :) employees. The breakfast was good and authentic and the room was clean. It was perfect for us and good value for money. In case we come to Dundee a second time, we know where to go to. I defenitely can recommend this Tavern Hotel.

It was a wonderful holiday destination and the hotel was brilliant too, the hotel was clean, modern and the staff were also very friendly , there was a lot of things to do such as Broughty Castle and the beach. Not a large room but big enough and shower room with powershower and great view of the light house, broughty... More

My partner has dietry problems which can sometimes make eating out difficult but not at tThe Fisherman's. Every time we visit the staff are so helpful and welcoming, and the food that is especially made for my partner Gillian is always excellent, as is my meal. Much as we would like to keep this gem of a restaurant to ourselves... More

Wife on business in St Andrew's for a few days (30 mins drive) so most of the day spent out. This hotel is small and cosy near the shore in picturesque Broughty Ferry with fine seafront walks. I was able to park the car right outside. Nice room on ground floor - not large but with two 3/4 beds together... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. Rooms are excellent. We ate both nights from an extensive menu and were very satisfied with our meals both nights. Breakfasts were also wonderful and all staff extremely friendly and made us feel extremely welcome. Would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend to family and friends. A great experience for our 18 year... More

Decided to go away for a couple of nights at the last minute and stumbled upon this hotel using a search engine. The price offered seemed too good to be true however they certainly surpassed our expectations, we would have paid more. Lovely room, more spacious than we envisaged, fantastic breakfast and service was excellent. There was a little noise... More

Hotel/ Inn was comfortable and the bedrooms where modern and pleasant. If staying in a room facing the street then, it can get very noisy at night, but some earplugs helped!!! We never ate in the bar, but the food looked nice. Breakfast was fine. My recommendation is to have dinner at the Ship Inn around the corner. But book... More
