We have stayed in this gem of a place in Broughty Ferry several times, when visiting relatives. The rooms are very comfortable, and the low-ceilinged bar is very atmospheric with a good range of real ales and other beers. Handy for the beach, golf courses, fishing trips, or just exploring some of the local areas.

I have stayed in Dundee many times on Business and Family reasons,I have now stayed here a few times in the last 2 months, and find it one of the best Pubs with Bed & Breakfast. Clean rooms, good food, and unusually very good cask beer( for Scotland).their are not many. Broughty ferry is a great area to stay with many... More

This hotel is a busy establishment in the middle of Broughty Ferry near Dundee. We chose it as it advertised ground floor rooms. We were allocated one of these which was freshly decorated with a large double bed and good bathroom. The food was excellent, breakfast especially, when helpful staff produced whatever was asked for, in whatever amount was asked... More

We booked here for an overnight stay having read good reviews on trip advisor. The room was freshly decorated and quiet considering the tavern is pretty busy. The choice of food for dinner was pretty reasonable as were the prices. The quality was great as was the taste. Breakfast in the morning did not disappoint either. The staff in the... More

We had visited the restaurant for meals before and, needing to stay in the area next visit, booked a couple of nights stay. The staff were really attentive and helpful even though they were also hosting the annual Ron Bonar beer festival to raise funds for the RNLI. This meant additional work for them. The room was great and, for... More

An unassuming building holds a gem of a pub, restaurant and hotel in a terraced street just up from the Lifeboat Station. We were immediately impressed when we stepped inside this warren of a complex. We arrived on Thursday evening - Folk Night - where singers and musicians just turn up to play and sing all night in a wonderfully... More

Warm welcome, good food and company at Fisherman's Tavern in Broughty Ferry near Dundee. Right on waterfront and close to beach. We had a twin room on the top floor and although not a huge room it met our needs for the night. Would definately recommend this to all looking for comfort and good home cooking.

The hotel is situated in a small village near a lovely beach. The room was modern and comfortable but in a lovely traditional pub. Breakfast was excellent and meals in the pub were good value. Broughty Ferry castle was nearby, free to enter and well worth a look around. We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights spent here.

The Tavern comprises of 3 adjoining terraced houses and looks very traditional from the outside. It does not have any dedicated parking but I easily found a space around the corner overlooking the river Tay estuary-what a view at sunset. A warm welcome and was promptly shown to my room. My room was fairly modern inside with 2 single beds,... More
