usiness in Dundee and my clients suggested meeting for dinner at the Fisherman's Tavern. I was not disappointed. We all enjoyed a fine sirloin steak; some of us even opted for starters and puddings which were very pleasant. The espresso was the best I have ever had in Scotland. The staff were really friendly even the next morning at breakfast,... More

Been going here for years, a lovely little pub that has a nice little beer garden and welcomes dogs. The atmosphere of "The Fish" is always welcoming and much warmer/friendlier than some of the more clubby type pubs that Broughty Ferrys known for. A perfect place for a relaxing drink and a nice, good quality pub meal. The annual beer... More

A new menu has some really good dishes - but my favourite is the Fish & Chips! My preference is breaded rather than battered and this is easily achieved if you ask. Service is always prompt and efficient but not intrusive. Get along and try.

Our first time in Dundee and we never expected the welcome and great food at the Fisherman's Tavern. From the time we walked in until we left all the staff were absolutely amazing. We had to change cars and the hire company had rung and left a message to pick up the car. Unsure of where to go, no problems... More

Stayed at the Fishermans' a few times over the years. Each time has been a pleasure, they have a really good local crowd, smart rooms, good food and a great breakfast. But what really makes it are the kind and caring staff who are always so helpful and on hand to cater for every need. Nothing ever seems too much... More

I used to go here everyday Saturday for lunch with my family! The staff are great and the food is seriously good. I would rather go here for my dinner than some other top places in Dundee. I would recommend either the steak pie or some sort of fish!.

A cosy little tavern a stones throw from the Firth of Tay. It has an interesting history with Jacobite connections. We were there for lunch. The menu was was varied and the prices reasonable. Our food was well cooked and tasty and there was a good selection of wines to choose from. Our waiter was excellent and it all added... More

I couldn't fault the place. The rooms were warm, spotlessly clean and comfortable. I stayed in room 9 on the ground floor which I was glad of as I have been suffering from sciatica so no stairs! The food was of good standard and piping hot and the staff very friendly, so welcoming. It was also in an ideal position... More

Just returned from what I can only describe as a wonderful New Year break at the Fishermans Tavern Broughty Ferry. My wife and I stayed for three nights over this period and found it faultless. The room we had which was room 5 was enormous. The staff were amazing from the manager to the housekeepers making you welcome and always... More
