I had booked a room at Invermark via the internet the night before I was staying. At the time it said "Only 1 room remaining". I was quite surprised, therefore, to see the sign saying there were vacancies when I arrived. The woman working there didn't have a note of my booking. She suggested that the owner probably hadn't checked... More

We had a 4 night stay at Invermark. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised with the house and the grounds. We went to check in and there was a note with our surname and room key which was very trusting but fair enough. The room itself was really big which was great since we would be spending a lot... The room was not of the expected standard for a mid-range b&b. It was tired and badly in need of refurbishment - peeling wall paper, large hole in the plaster where the door handle (which was barely attached to the door) hit the wall, windowsill grimy, net curtain shredded, rawl plugs in walls for non-existent fittings, creaky bed, lumpy mattress,... Stayed just for one night at end of May,with my friend and three dogs.We had a family room so plenty of space.Bathroom fairly small but fine for a night. What made it standout for us though was the friendliness and approach of the manager/landlady.Sometimes when you travel with dogs you can feel that you (and they)are being tolerated rather than... A lovely stay in a very clean family sized room (double and single bed) with large en suite bathroom. Breakfast was huge and would certainly keep you going until late in the day. The landlady was great, she took a shine to my dog and even looked after her while we went out in the evenings for a meal and... More

Spent a couple of days here when visiting relatives. The room was good apart from the springs in the bed which seemed to be subject to a lot of wear and tear (shudder!) We had relatives that came to see us and the woman in charge not only joined in our private conversation but told our relative that her opinions... More

A lovely overnight stay in a clean room, though the furniture is a little dated. Friendly staff and a cracking breakfast in the morning. Well situated, just a short walk to the centre of Broughty Ferry and on a major bus route to Dundee.

I spent 3 nights in the Invermark from the 30th of Sept....I have to say that Irene made my visit memorable. She is the most friendly and caring person. I had a family room which was out of this world...so spacious and tastefully decorated...the en-suite bathroomwas fantastic with a jacuzzi bath and a shower. The breakfasts were delicious and Irene... More

Stayed here one night and as it's close to Broughty Ferry thought give a whirl. The landlady is friendly and helpful and to be frank it's a ok place to stay, but the room I was in was very dated with only the TV anywhere near modern. It felt like I was in a 79's time warp. The breakfast was... More
