We stayed for 2 nights this month as we were attending a wedding. The hotel was fine, slightly dated but clean and comfortable. The restaurant served good food. The only disappointing point was when we asked about a taxi to the wedding in Dundee we were told it would be " cheaper to go by Bus"!!!!!!!!! we were told the... More

Virtually everything about this hotel is very good indeed. The cleanliness and quality of the decor , the little touches of providing dressing gowns slippers and bottles of water, the quality of the food , all at such competitive prices , make this a very good choice. The only draw back for us was that the room was right at... More

First of all, I have to say that the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. But I do wish I had looked at this Hotel on the Google Satellite system. I had booked two rooms, 1 double and 1 single. The single room was on the road side of the Hotel, it was a very hot room and I needed... More

Dear Marion W, As you have said yourself, pity you hadn't booked a room at a hotel in the wilderness. The trains are not allowed to toot their horns after 11pm, then there are two trains running until midnight, after that the first train is at 0615. Unfortunately this is the hottest Summer we have had in forty years, so... More

Stayed for two nights, 2 adults and 1 teenager in a family room. The room was good with a proper single bed not a put me up for the third occupant. A lovely clean en-suite shower room attached to a good sized room with plenty of storage space. Nice to find a swimming pool in a hotel of this size... More

We spent one week at the hotel and truly felt like we were part of the family by the end of our visit. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always available to assist with the smallest (or largest) request. The facilities were perfectly located for golfing and sight seeing excursions as well as close enough to the waterfront for evening... More

We spent 4 nights at this lovely, family run hotel to meet up with other friends and act as a base. The staff we so accomodating and nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed using the facilities there too (gym and pool) which is a real 'find' in the area. Nothing was too much trouble, a genuine wish to assist... More

Stayed here overnight a couple of weeks ago and were very comfortable. Room was spotlessly clean and comfortably furnished. Staff were outstanding. When they noticed my husband had mobility problems, they said they would set up a table for us in the conservatory area for breakfast to save him struggling with stairs. This was very considerate and helpful. Only slight... More

My family and I have been eating in and getting takeaways from the Hotel Broughty Ferry for years and years now and have never been disappointed. From Indian takeaways on a Saturday night, or High Tea on a Sunday, the food is always fantastic with faultless service! One of the best places for food and atmosphere in Dundee for sure.

In town for a golf trip. Location provided easy and close access to the courses we wanted to play. The staff was very pleasant and extremely helpful. Very close the the town of St. Andrews and plenty of nice pubs/restaurants.

5 night golf tour. Hotel was vey welcoming and the rooms perfectly adequate and comfortable. All staff were freindly and efficient. Not a lot of parking on site, but plenty on nearby streets. Would return.
