Went with friend for lunch using a groupon. Service ok and staff polite and friendly but food not really up to standard I was expecting. Had fish and chips with peas and friend had chicken curry. Fish ok but could have been cooked a bit longer and perhaps would have been nicer. Batter bit soggy inside. Friend commented that chicken... More

Arriving to a large potholed car park at the back of a slightly weary looking hotel is not the best entrances. However, the actual hotel entrance and hotel itself were fine. We had a cosy, well decorated room and ensuite ( not at all tired) overlooking the Tay. Breakfast was not the most inspiring however- a tickybox box menu on... More

if you like tesco food then you'll probably enjoy this afternoon tea - however after paying for a voucher at half price (£30) I still feel ripped off! Tesco pancakes and scones, tesco mini party cupcakes, shop purchased sponge cake and a Mr Kipling slice cut in half!!!!!!!!!! Sandwiches were lovely. But very poor value for money. So disappointed.

Although there are over 100 reviews only around 30 relate to the restaurant as it is now since it ceased trading in 2012 and reopened as a curry house a couple of years later. Bland decor, no atmosphere. Thought it a bit overpriced for very average food but it is an hotel a bit away from main restaurant area of... More

My mother and I visited here two days ago using a voucher. We were welcomed lovely, servers were polite and friendly. I used the baby changing facilities that were spotlessly clean, we then went to the large bar/restaurant that was warm, clean and comfy. We were served promptly and food was amazing. I had chicken tikka masala and it was... More

A work in progress - that indeed. Granted when we stayed it had only been open a few weeks. The receptionist was very nice and polite. We were given the keys to our rooms - which were okay - and then headed downstairs to the bar for a drink. We decided to eat in the hotel that night for dinner,... More

Stayed here for 2 nights,,breakfast and evening meal included on first night,,,lovely hotel, beautiful garden very clean etc,,, The restaurant staff were disorganised and I felt very embarrassed when asked for a £5 supplement after ordering a king prawn dish....this was NOT stated on voucher or menu!!!! Created a bad feeling and ruined our stay at the hotel.
