We recently stayed for two nights in the Premier Inn in Dundee while visiting for a very special occasion. The staff were fantastic - friendly, professional and extremely welcoming and this was consistent throughout our stay. The room was clean with beautiful views across the Tay. We did have an issue with the mattress on our bed and a rather... More

excellent customer service from Megan who helped get our rooms ready a bit earlier than the check in time, very friendly staff, clean pleasant rooms and a good breakfast. Location great, 5 minutes walk from the train station and a 10 minute walk in to the centre of Dundee, will definitely stay again

Practicalities : Sat nav took us there (though note that there are road works in the area and some sudden direction changes are required) – from the north it maybe easier to cross the bridge and come back over, when keep left (look for sign "Discovery Centre") gets you there. Ample free parking – get a pass from the hotel... More

Just returned from a family weekend at the above premier Inn with my grandchildren. The attention we received from the staff, especially the childen, was second to none, both in the Inn and at the restaurant. The family room we had was ideal for 2 adults and two children and altho' we had a roadside room the noise was minimal and... More

Good location room was quiet even though it was on the road side of the inn. Bedding was being replaced throughout the inn on our arrival for new. parking was free until departure at noon. Would recommend this inn

Although less modern than other Premier Inns,, this is counteracted by the superb views from the River view rooms. The hotel has an attached "Table Table" restaurant, which provided excellent service. The hotel staff were all friendly and welcoming. The hotel was quiet, despite the fact that one of the nights we stayed was 'Father's Day'. I was told that... More

A bit disappointed by the Premier Inn. We paid £89 a night and were disappointed - maybe I am spoilt but no mini bar (it was a cold spell in Scotland so husband hung beer outside window in a wet sock to chill it which worked a treat!); beds small and ensured that when you woke up that you did... My young son and I were travelling on a budget to collect our older son from university. We wanted to pack in a lot of family/friends visits so our check-in times were outside the normal check-in times. Stopping at another Premier Inn on route, the staff sorted our check-in, so we were delighted to discover a room with seaview when... More

a nice place conveniently located near the rrs discovery. the room had a great view over the TAY. the restaurant was looking a bit tired and the bar served no draught beer at 10:30.not so nice for a hote lthat belongs to a brewery. Parking outside is very convenient for tourists and business i suppose

Stayed twice within a fortnight. The hotel was easy to find next to The Discovery Centre, but be aware the area has road works and diversions in operation which was very frustrating. The staff were friendly but not totally up to date on the road closures and diversions to get to the free hotel car park. On a positive note... More
