This hotel is not worth 2 stars even though it says it is 4 stars when you get there. Hotel is very old fashioned, needs re-decorated. Room was terrible, not what the pictures show you. I stayed here again and really enjoyed the Hotel. We were able to play on the Monifrieth Course next to the Hotel . The food was great and service excellent. The bedrooms were comfortable. A lovely hotel. more

We settled on this hotel after finding the first 4 we tried in the area were fully booked. There is an impressive entrance lobby and the lady on duty was very helpful (as were all the staff)..... .... although there wasn't a double room she said we would be able to push the twin beds together - in the end... more

My wife and i stayed at the Swallow Hotel from 12th - 14th of May and we were very glad we picked this Hotel. The rooms were large and spotless, what more could you ask for. The staff could not do enough for you and we found them all first class and very polite. We stayed B&B and once again... more

Just had this not so good stay at this hotel . On arrival the receptionist could not find the booking , tried to do about four things at once including booking us in. The bar prices are extortionate £3.50 for a bottle of Smirnoff ice, the bar meals were little to be desired ,the bar snacks look a bit better.... more

Between the guy snoring in the next room (walls very thin) and the drunk couple who decided to have a domestic at 4am that resulted in the wall being slammed with an iron (no effect) and the intervention of the Night Porter...
